African Bean Cafe — Restaurant in George

My family and I just recently re-located to Knysna, this is not a review for the food but for the staff at the location. A taxi hit my car in the parking outside of African Bean yesterday. Not having a phone with me and my daughters with me, I asked the manager and staff at African Bean to assist, they did not hesitate to offer assistance phoning the traffic department and getting me the help I needed, not rushing me and helping me with care to resolve the situation I am in. I had to rush off with the traffic cop and I did not have time to thank this wonderful friendly staff and manager.

If this is how you treat a stranger, not even eating at your restaurant, I can only imagine how wonderful you must treat your customers.

I urge everyone to support this coffee shop / restaurant in Knysna. My family and I will def be going there...

Very friendly service. This sidewalk coffee hub is in the middle of Knysna's Main CBD. Actually, everything is a bit against this cosy friendly establishment. Although parking is literary on its doorstep you will realise it is only by chance you will find a parking for your car. The bathroom is at the upper level and you might have difficulty enjoying the relax atmosphere if you are in a wheel chair. You can, however, sit outside at the tables on the sidewalk, but it might be a little noisy with traffic passing only a few meters away. It is an ideal place to sit and observe passers by and enjoy the town. The food is dilicious, and it will truly be worth your while to pay them a visit and enjoy what their menu...

Worst service I've experienced in a while. Three tables sat down, ate, and left before we were able to order. We had to go inside to find a waitress before we could even think about eating. (We make a point of not looking like we have money - when we are in actual fact, travelling international artists @ state alchemy and atmosphere psychedelic decor) Simple brekkie took 30 min to prepare. Not happy. We do not do bad reviews often, but no one came out to serve us, except to seat us, and check the bill payment. - we cannot reply to your comments - please reach out privately if needed.
