Kenwyn - on -Sea — Hotel in KwaDukuza Local Municipality

I recently stayed at Kenwyn on Sea (Flat#6)and was disappointed with the overall experience. The room had a strong unpleasant odor, and the cupboards and wardrobes had a moldy smell. The stove was rusted, and the cleaning staff didn't thoroughly clean the room.

Check-in was disorganized, and we had to wait over an hour to receive our keys, which were only available at a nearby petrol garage. During our five-day stay, we didn't receive clean towels, and when we requested our security deposit back, we were accused of losing a towel, which we didn't take.

The room's maintenance was also subpar, with a closet door falling off its hinges. We didn't use it to avoid damaging it further, but we're now being blamed for the damage. It's unfair to be held responsible for pre-existing issues.

The only positive aspect was the hotel's beachside location and the facilities in the yard, braai areas etc.. However, the lack of WiFi and poor customer service overshadowed this advantage. Overall, our stay did not meet our expectations, and we wouldn't recommend Kenwyn on Sea (Flat...

A beach holiday always inspires a sense of joy. And thats exactly what i felt. This apartment was lovely. Its close proximity to the shores allowed us to take in the breathtaking views and the sound of crashing waves was music to our ears. The provision of beach toys, a gazebo, beach umbrella, and towels just pieces everything together so well. It is well maintained and clean and is tastefully decorated. I only wish it had a lift to assist with the lugging of heavy bags to the room; baskets and equipment to the beach. It is an older building so i suppose this should be expected. I would still recommend this accommodation to anyone in search of a relaxing holiday in Ballito. The staff i dealt with were all very helpful...

Lovely old block right on the main beach, Willard beach. The apartments are huge, very spacious, and clean, with quite good side sea views from the flats that are not in front, with balconies. There is a pool in the centre of the complex and good braai facilities. Parking is OK, just the vehicle entrance is steep and one needs to be very careful with a low slung car or if pulling a trailer. There are no lifts so there are stairs to climb to the 1st and 2nd floors, which was a bit of a problem for my aged Mom-in-law. Easy access to the beach.Well maintained complex with large,...
