This was such a disappointing breakfast experience we have ever encountered in Ballito. Ordered a simple omellete with cheese. I was served cheap processed cheese in the omellette. Why on earth would you serve your customers unhealthy processed plastic tasting cheese. I did enquire after I scraped the cheese off of the egg to which they informed me they were testing out a new cheese! Appalled!! My partner ordered a Milk Bread breakfast which was very sub par. The poached egg he ordered was very below standard and served on what basically was nothing more than a white bread roll. Service was, however, good and friendly. Will certainly give this place a skip...

Visited for lunch with my family. Service was very slow. Waiters fielding many complaints from neighboring tables - management refused to leave back-of-house to assist - this nearly drove the waitress to tears. When the food eventually arrived, pregos were cold and steak overcooked. Manager witnessed a spill at the table commented on it and walked away, no offer to assist, clean, or of servettes. Caught in the rain and Bica was busy. Waited five minutes and the owner (not happy with our wait time) kindly moved a table for us from the deck to under the main cover. Food arrived in minutes. Bacon, cheese and egg sandwiches for kids (looked immense and I would choose next time), Bica Omelette (under seasoned but I’d rather that than over…easy to add salt), and the smashed avo (only one toast and one egg so not for the hungry). Bread all made on site and was great. Recommend if you need a quick bite. Really gives a customer focused...
