The new owners of Hermanus Champagne accommodation transformed this guesthouse recently into a combination of comfort and beauty. It is modern and comfortable yet stil has old world charm. Walking into the house feels like entering an art gallery with original paintings and other artworks.

Although on the main road, it is quiet and you are not aware of the traffic due to the location of the house to the back of the property. Safe parking for all guests.

Ideally located walking distance from town centre and access to the lovely cliff path is just opposite the road

Comfortable rooms, excellent beds, own fridge. A well equiped modern kitchen is available for self catering. The different seating areas inside and outside the house ensures that guest sharing the house can have privacy if that is what they want.

Ansie who manages the guesthouse is extremely helpful and contributes to a most enjoyable stay.

It is wheelchair friendly and suitable for old and young. I can highly recommend...

Small town Hermanus, in South Africa is very pretty and famous about whalewatching and nice Atlantic coast.|But the Jakasa Guest House is like a home sweet home. |Me and my husband discovered this place, travelling along the Atlantic coastine, we found it by case and we are so happy to met the owner oh the Jakasa, Mr. Nato, very gentle, very kind man, offering to us all the best he could. |The hiuse is very charme, nice and comfortable, rooms are very clean and good organized. |A big common space is offered to the visitors, the kitchen and the nuce garden, the place to relax, to read, to take a cup of tea. |For sure, to come back again, because it is very warm place with nice people, very friendly like...

I can highly recommend this spot for self-catering. It was extremely clean, and you have everything you need for your stay, plus the local Spar is just down the road. They even have a coffee plunger and machine so if you enjoy a quality coffee in the morning, bring your pods or ground coffee!☕ 😁

Location is excellent as we were close to everything, with the beach down the road. If you feel like spoiling yourself for breakfast, I'd recommend Hame restaurant, which is not too far - delicious!

Ansie is also very helpful and responsive. Had a small incident on arrival and she jumped right in to help.
