Black Eagle Hotel and Spa — Hotel in Roodepoort

We stayed for the whole weekend (Friday and Saturday night). I was a little surprised when I finally looked it up and realised how close they were and that they weren't more in the country. But we still really enjoyed our stay spending time in teh gardens near the bar. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The food was excellent, I had the Crispy Korean Chicken Friday night and was SOO tempted to have it again on Saturday night, that was how great it was. I thought the prices were good for the meals and drinks. Only issue was Sunday morning 7h30 someone started up a weedeater and was making a noise on the property, and that is WAY too early. Also they have a church that host their Sunday services on the property, so good luck if you want to sleep in :) But we would go again, but probably stay Friday night only, and then send the rest of the day on Saturday in the beautiful gardens and book for Supper. Also we didn't get to use the SPA as our booking was a little late and they were already booked, their spa is also...

Black Eagle Hotel and Spar holds a special place in my heart! We had our wedding here years ago, and it was truly marvelous. The venue itself is stunning and felt very safe and secure. A big shoutout to Guin and Ashley (if they are both still there) for their exceptional help during the planning process.

Booking the entire place for the day was fantastic, and the staff was absolutely on point – the food was amazing! We also booked out the accommodation, which was very clean and comfortable, making it a truly memorable experience for myself, my new bride, and all our guests.
