We get there as normal, usually we have to fill in the COVID-19 register and get our temperature checked, today that's didn't happen. So we sit on the outside next to the play area which is not a safe environment for any child younger than 8.
We order food and drink, the drinks come no issues, after some time I order water and the water comes after 30 minutes.
We wait for the food to come which never come, 1h30 minutes after our arrival in the restaurant.
We ask one of the waiters what's happening and she says she is going to check. I stand up to see what's happening as we were sitting outside, once I get Inside I see that the inside is now full and most if not every table had food in their table and eating. At that time we dicided to leave the establishment as we could clearly see that we were not going to get any service.
In conclusion we felt profiled as we were the only people of color in the restaurant. the only people to have not filled the register and get temperature checked. And the only people who never got their food.
You may not need my business but my business you will never get.

Read moreIf there was a 0 - then it would be more like it, Food was okish - one of the meals was ice cold and when the food was brought to the table, the person handling the food insisted that the wooden place mat be in place as it was hot!!! When my husband asked for the Manager, a man who in my opinion has no spine just listened, made no attempt to communicate with him and make things right. The food was taken away and we never heard anything further, needless to say my husband never ate. The waitress just never cam back to our table except when we asked for the bill. Only then was it communicated that the meal had been taken off the bill. Suggestion - get a manager with backbone and who can actually communicate. Problem solving should be part of the course in being a manager and this should be for the other staff. Not shy away from the problem. Will definitely not recommend this...

We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant opened to the public and did not receive a warm welcome from the manager.
Staff we're mopping the floor. We walked in and were told by the manager thd store is not open yet. We then asked when does the store open and he said 11h30 which was in 15 minutes.
We told him we had no problem having a seat outside at a table and waiting.
He then proceeds to inform us staff can't serve us because they'll have to wait for the floor to dry before coming outside. Otherwise the staff would dirty the floor.
I repeated that we had no problem waiting the 15 minutes out for the store to officially open.
The manager's tone was off-putting during the exchange and I would have left and gone to a different restaurant in the centre had it not been for my friend who had a strong desire for fish.
