Wonderfully decorated hanok hotel built in the traditional style of wood, Hanji (the traditional Korean paper) and hwangto (a type of clay soil). Not surprisingly traditional sleep-on-the-floor Korean style rooms are available. Some older people still do the floor bed thing but the younger generation mostly like the luxury of western style beds so rooms with real beds are also available.||||Two thin mattresses with duvets were supplied. After realising that charming and quaint doesn't always feel like it looks, we unashamedly cheated by putting 2 mattresses and a duvet together (see photos). Still rather hard but you've gotta do it once…||||Shoes off please before treading on to the beautifully polished wooden floor. Facilities include underfloor heating (ondol), aircon, large TV, fridge, hairdryer. armchairs, electric kettle and bathroom goodies.||||Very friendly staff and very quiet. Continental breakfast (yes!) 8-9am near the reception (see photo).||||This review is based on 1 night in the hotel which was selected and booked by a Korean travel agent. So we don't know what the agent actually paid. The hotel's advertised prices are 110,000 won (€99, $112, £77) weekdays, 130,000 won Friday (€83, $95, £66), 150,000 won weekend (€114, $129, £89). Please note that the hotel itself uses the name...

Read moreThis hotel is an authentic Korean Hotel. The floors are all wood and one must remove their shoes upon entrance. There is a bed, two chairs and a small table in the room. The bath room is nice size with a shower. The decor is very quaint.all kinds of Korean designs on the door and the walls. The beds are very comfortable with down comforters that have beautiful embroidered designs on them. The two things that make this a four star rather than a five star: No bath size towels. I had four hand towel size towels in my room. Took two of those to get me somewhat dry following a shower. However, I managed. The other thing was the temperature. The room was so warm that it was hard to sleep. Even with the air conditioning set down, it was till warm. In the winter this would be a plus, but I was there in very warm spring weather. It's a great hotel if one wants a real...
