I cannot express enough how exceptional our experience was at Ramada Hotel and Suites Namdaemun in Seoul. From the moment we stepped into the lobby, we were greeted by an atmosphere of warmth and professionalism. The location of the hotel is unbeatable, situated right in the heart of the city, making it incredibly convenient for exploring all that Seoul has to offer.
The staff at the front desk truly exceeded our expectations. Their level of service was unparalleled, and I must give a special shoutout to Owen, Oscar, and Cindy. These individuals went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our stay was perfect. Their attention to detail and genuine care for guests made us feel incredibly valued. In fact, their exceptional service was the primary reason why I have already rebooked my stay at the hotel for May.
One incident in particular truly showcased the dedication of the staff at Ramada Namdaemun. My friend accidentally left her mobile phone in the lobby at checkout, and we only realized it once we arrived at Incheon airport. To our amazement, Owen and the front desk team promptly arranged for the phone to be sent to the airport, ensuring that we didn't have to go through any hassle. It's gestures like these that truly demonstrate the commitment of the staff to guest satisfaction.
Additionally, the limousine service provided by the hotel for airport transfers was incredibly convenient. The direct route from the airport to the hotel, with pickups and drop-offs right in front of the hotel entrance, made our journey seamless and stress-free. Around the hotel and in the Hotel premises are Coffee shops, Convenience Stores and a Subway Sandwich Outlet which has vegetarian Sandwiches.
Overall, our stay at Ramada Hotel and Suites Namdaemun was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of a superb location, outstanding staff, and top-notch amenities truly sets this hotel apart. I wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable stay in Seoul. Thank you, Ramada Namdaemun, for an...
Read moreLet me start off by saying that the hotel staff were friendly and very very helpful. The beds were clean and comfortable with very nice pillows. The hotel is conveniently located next to multiple convenience stores, shopping, restaurants, sightseeing and the train station. The room itself was definitely not what I was expecting from a huge chain like Ramada. We stayed there from the 14th through the 19th of October and was very disappointed from the moment we opened the door. The room smelled like it was from the 70's, musty and stale, the furniture looked as though it was from the same period. The table in the room was rusty and worn. The wardrobe had been hastily repaired with cheap press board. The bathroom is where most of my dissatisfaction is directed towards. The door to the bathroom had been repeatedly exposed to water (warped and coming apart) which is from the very thin and cheap shower curtain (rusty curtain rod) that was approximately eight inches off of the tile allowing water to get everything wet including the very slippery tile that covers the bathroom floor. The "once was shower" now has a claw foot tube stuck in there which is very awkward and dangerous because of the configuration. The tub was "mounted" to the granite shower walls (many pieces are cracked) with three spots of silicone which has failed. There is mold and hair on the rear of the tubs feet and where the tub drained into the floor drain. There was mold behind the sink as well. The room air conditioner vents were dirty and appeared to have mold there too. One last thing that I was disappointed in is that there was no microwave in the room. I hope that my comment card that was filled out by me and left in the room has made it's way to someone who can make a difference and cares about the Ramada brand name and reputation and is able to make some changes going forward.

Read moreIt was our last two nights stay out of 21days honeymoon so I thought I'd book us nice roomy hotel room in a prime location. Should not have done that. In trip.com deluxe double (pet friendly) was the only available deluxe double option so we booked it. When we got to the hotel reception the staff member noticed we didn't have any dogs or cats. So I told them we don't have any pets with us but booked the room anyway as it was deluxe double with big nice shower and separate toilet (at least in the photo it seemed like). I also told them I don't mind if they want to put us in a different room then the pet friendly(we have 3 cats and 2 rabbits of our own back home so whether or not it was pet friendly did not matter). We ended up assigned to a longer term residence room, as it had a fridge with separate proper freezer and a washing machine. What bugged me the most was that the shower was so tiny within a tiny bath tub and toilet was right next to the bath/shower. The photos of the deluxe room and the room we were assigned did not match so I rang the front desk and explained the situation and asked. The answer I got was simple 'the room you're in is deluxe double'. No further explanations as to why the toilet is not separate as seen in photo, why is there a bath/shower instead of a big wide shower screen or the room is different to the photo. I swear I took the photos but it's gone for some weird reason🫤 but oh boy after that the entire stay was just a disappoin**ent. Not coming back ever. Good on those who find this hotel delightful but if things go wrong oh boy they're not...
