Decided to stay here for one night instead of driving back to a friend's. Booked based on the Trip Advisor reviews but have been very disappointed. ||Check in was quite slow, but nothing to worry about. Took a walk around the industrial estate that the hotel is on the edge of, hardly any shops open, and most restaurants closed. Decided to walk back and order room service (7.30pm). ||Room service states that it is available between 8.30pm and 10.30pm. Called reception twice at 8.30pm, and again at 9.15pm to order both times told to hold and then they would call me back (no one ever called back). They then stopped answering the phone, so gave up and went to get a McDonalds as by this point it was too late to have a sit down meal and we were very tired from a long day. ||The pipework that I assume services the rooms above was quite noisy, you could just hear this constant flow of water like the tap had been left on in our bathroom. Really annoying noise so tried to drown it out with the TV. Speaking of the TV, don't expect any English channels.||Mini bar poorly stocked, and one bag of peanuts as a snack. ||The room was very standard, and nothing special, no different to a Holiday or Premier Inn in the UK||I really expected a lot more...
Read moreThe hotel and the rooms are clean and comfortable. The sleeping room is large and as well the bathroom. The beds and the long pillows are very comfortable, one can sleep very well with one condition: to maintain the windows closed, because when they are open there is a very strong noize due to the highway traffic. The breakfast is good, with different possible choices of food. We had a problem with the TV functioning on Saturday. I asked to be replaced this TV with another one but the receptionists said that they have not tehnician for service on Saturday and Sunday. The receptionist proposed instead to move in another room but I refused because packing and unpacking once more the luggages was not an acceptable idea just only to have a TV in function. The location is quite far from Valencia if you do not travel with your car but you can arrive at Valencia by train (half an hour of walk up to the station but the train arrives in only 7 min. in Valencia train station) or by bus, which takes much more time. This hotel we recommend for...
Read moreHotel albufara booked double but got singles and couldn’t change us. safe wouldn’t lock but was fixed. Door on wardrobe was awkward and wouldn’t open without hard and awkward shoving, so had to either leave open, which was awkward as it was right next to door to room, or not use that side of wardrobe, it was reported twice but not fixed. No tea or coffee facilities. Adjacent to motorway there is noise if the window is shut but not too bad although the view isn’t the best. Sat within a commercial area of big industrial units and big single shops. There are plenty of fast food places around that are open all day but for restaurants you have to wait till 8-8.30pm for them to open. It’s a 20 minute drive into Valencia. Plenty of Car parking but is tight as seems to be the way in Spain. Breakfast is a basic and busy affair if the hotel is full. The pool isn’t big enough for lengths and the setting was a bit off putting. This isn’t a hotel I want to return to and would choose a more central...
