Paramount Holidays — Hotel in Arona

This host scammed us. The check-in was at 2 am. When we arrived at the apartment, it was extremely dirty (insects and beetles everywhere, including the kitchen, inside the pots, around the cutlery; there was a used razor in the shower, dust everywhere, etc.), so we decided to spend just one night (because it was very late) and asked the host for a full refund.

The agreement with Paramount Holidays (the host) was made via WhatsApp for a full refund except for the first night (during which we had nightmares because of the many insects). We agreed to this to avoid further problems.

However, a few days later, we were surprised to find that the host sent only a partial refund, as they also charged 80€ for cleaning fees (a robbery, since the apartment was not cleaned at all), without any prior mention of this fee. Booking did not help us at all, so in the end, we spent one nightmare night for over...

I have booked a beautiful apartment with them on airbnb with reasonble price after discount. I have received the confirmation (voucher). After 2 weeks they are coming back saying my booking is not valid any more. They are offering me alternatives, which in reality are no alternatives - different places, much smaller apartment.

As my trip is getting closer I am not able to find anything comparable to my original booking, without paying 30-50% more.

I definitely do not recommend this company. It is not reliable partner. Waste of time, energy and...

Apartament a la muntanya, zona nord de Tenerife. Plaga de cucs. Se'ls va comunicar el dia de l'arribada i no van fer res fins dos dies despres, quan la plaga era massa bèstia. Era denunciable a Consum. I ho farem. No es pot enganyar tant descaradament a la gent. Ja veuríem què farien si els hagués passat a ells. No contestaven al whatsapp per deixar passar el temps. Buscar un altre allotjament suposava pagar molts diners i no ens haurien tornat els diners de la reserva, i més veient les opinions d'altres clients, on les plagues són habituals.
