Please concerned that you can not bring your visitors there and the host of Airbnb is very rude. You can check in after 16.00 but check out 12.00 , so they take 4 h to clean up ??? Better go to the hotel with this price you can check in faster and check out at the same time , even you can drop your stuff in the lobby if you won’t be able to get in yet. We get in 4 people but we planed to sleep only 2 people but the host seem afraid and always said we have to leave, I even told him that after 2 h my friends not leav the place he can call the police, but seem he has no any empathy. And it’s nonsense that we just have 1 small lagage and 1 bag and some stuff we bought, how can he think that we will sleep there 4 people,? He can see us get in 4 people but why he can not see how many bags we have??? We move out because the planed was destroy we can not get the money back but I don’t care that money, what I care is my feeling. I tried to understand that I can wait outside for the check in time and hope to take some rest and talk with friends before we go out but in the end I have to find another place to stay tonight. What the host can do it’s just listed to us , ask for the paper of people if they have the residence in Barcelona or not , if they think I lied. Or wait for 2 hours if people don’t leave so they can do what they want you have the cámara so use it for the better things . Or !! Write in the info that the guest can not bring the visitors, so people will understand at the beginning and pass to the place that more friendly. With 100€+ per night we can find something better for...
Read moreVery clean and very well run. Excellent communication with staff, very good facilities and reasonably quiet considering it’s in an area with lots of bars and restaurants streets nearby. Windows are on a quiet street, people pass occasionally and you can hear them if windows are open but it’s rare (we went in September so still lots of people out and tourists like us visiting the city) and with earplugs if you must, you’ll be totally fine. Good amenities in the room (kettle/hairdryer/tv) and clean modern and new looking bathroom (shower has a timer for water savings, something I’d be fussy about in general, but in this case was set up to not be too draconian - it was absolutely manageable and comfortable and I’m a slow shower user) and nice memory foam bed. All instructions clearly available on signs so most things are pretty foolproof. Has fridge and basic kitchen equipment too! So technically you could make your food if you want (we did not, since lots of nice and reasonably cheap places are nearby). Nice rooftop which we only popped out on for a min but I can see having drinks or morning coffee there could be delightful. Good connection to metro and trams, 2 metro stations with multiple lines within a 10-15 min walk. Would absolutely 1000% book again if I come back...
Read moreI had a wonderful 6 night stay here and loved it! I was greeted by Marj, who showed me around and made sure I had everything I needed. Boutique Apartments 23 sits on a quiet street, but a perfect location for restaurants, bars, bakeries, fruit stands, grocery store, and walking everywhere in a less crowded part of Barcelona. I walk a lot so all the sights to see were an easy walk, but public transportation is very close by. The property is very clean and welcoming. The apartment was perfect for my stay - a kitchen, dining table, sitting area, comfortable bed and nice bathroom and shower (both overhead and handheld). There is a common area that is open 9-5 each day and has THE BEST COFFEE. I met Francesc the first morning. He was so welcoming and helpful and continued to be present everyday. It was really nice to chat (you can be private if you want to be). You can see that he takes pride in Boutique Apartments 23 and cares about those who come to stay. The same for Marj. She is hardworking, friendly and, again, so very helpful. Let me not forget - another bonus is the rooftop area - very peaceful and attractive...
