My friend and I arrived 10 minutes before the restaurant opened, and there was already a long queue. At 19:32, the staff started separating guests based on reservations. (So if you’re planning to visit, make a reservation beforehand!) Since we didn’t have one, we were informed that the wait would be around 40 minutes. Fortunately, we only ended up waiting 30 minutes before getting a table. We ordered gyoza, soy ramen, and seafood ramen, finishing off with black sesame pudding. For drinks, we had two glasses of wine. •The gyoza was tasty and arrived very quickly. •The ramen was good, but not extraordinary—nothing I would personally wait over 30 minutes for. The seafood ramen had a lighter broth, while the soy ramen was much thicker, almost unnaturally so. •The black sesame pudding was enjoyable at first but quickly became overly sweet after a few bites. When the staff brought the dessert, they also delivered the bill. As soon as we finished, they cleared our plates and asked us to pay. Even though we still had some wine left, they came back again to tell us we had to leave because other guests were waiting. Overall, I’d give it a 6/10. No matter how tasty the food is, if the service and atmosphere don’t feel welcoming, it takes away from the experience—especially for €13 per ramen plus a long wait. So, if you’re planning to try this place, the best advice is: MAKE A RESERVATION!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting a Ramen Ya-Hiro restaurant that I can't stop raving about. This place has everything you could want in a dining experience - amazing owners, wonderful staff, and most importantly, delicious food. I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant twice, and on both occasions, I was blown away by the quality of the food. I waited little in the line but it was least than 30 min because the demand. The ramen was perfect - the noodles were cooked to perfection, and the broth was rich and flavorful. Every ingredient in the dish was fresh and of the highest quality, making for a truly exceptional dining experience. What really stood out to me, however, was the warmth and kindness of the owners and staff. They went out of their way to make sure that every customer felt welcome and at home, creating an atmosphere that was both comfortable and inviting. Overall, I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough. If you're a fan of ramen or just great food in general, you owe it to yourself to give this place a try. With wonderful staff, and top-notch cuisine, it's sure to become one of your favorite dining destinations.

The place came highly recommended by a friend who used to live in Barcelona. It opens at 8:30, but we got there at 8:00 on a Saturday evening and there was already a queue. We managed to be the last ones to be seated, even though it was outside rather than in. People still queued even if they didn't get a table in the first round, which has to tell you something about this place. Their chef is Japanese, and by the looks of newspaper cutouts inside, was featured a lot in media. Me and my sister really enjoyed their gyoza as a starter, and their miso and tonkotsu ramen. You should try this place at least once. They don't have a lot of types of ramen soups and meats they provide (as opposed to other place I have tried in Dublin) but the ones they do have hit the spot! Since I did not have the do it yourself ramen before, the waitress actually asked me about it and showed me how you are supposed to eat it :)

I booked a table for 5 people for 22:15 and although we got there even before the time and let the staff know, they said we had to wait. At 22:35 we still didn’t have a table. Although a table for 5 people became available in their “terraza”, the staff said that they needed to close the outside area and we wouldn’t be allowed to sit there and that they would give us a table inside (where clearly they couldn’t fit 5 people and where everyone was still eating). The staff (especially a woman with short hair) treated us terribly and did not seem to care that we had made a reservation and almost 30mins later we were still not seated. Unnacceptable behaviour from the staff. But it seems like this restaurant likes to see a queue of people outside and they proud themselves on being always so full. Why offer late timings for reservations such as 22:15 if you are in a hurry to close the restaurant? Why did they accept and confirm the booking but never reserved a table for us? Or told the table of 5 outside that they should leave because there was a booking for 22:15. This table of 5 people outside were just chatting since we got there. They had already eaten and paid the bill by the time we got there but the staff did not seem bothered about accommodating the customers that had a booking. Terrible attitude from the staff when asked about our booking. Arrogant and impolite, not even looking at us and just dismissing our questions with their back to us as if they were busy with something else (and...

Was initially full of anticipation to try this ramen seeing the hype, but ended up being sorely disappointed. Although we did not have a reservation (advised for those who disliked queueing), we decided to go ahead and queue for a good 75 minutes (7:45pm - 9pm). Initially, they did not open the second store (mainly used for take out), but upon seeing the slow turnover rate, they eventually opened it and we were ‘fortunate’ to be the ones to be seated there. Upon taking our orders, we still had to wait another 15 minutes for 3 items to arrive— gyoza, miso ramen, soyu ramen.

gyoza was carelessly served, with the sauce spilling out of the condiment tray all over the gyozas, spoiling the integrity of the fried gyozas. Taste wise— it was decent but not top tier. both ramen bowls were completely not up to par for a Japanese-owned ramen restaurant. Although most ramen cannot be compared to those in Japan itself, we were horrified to find out that the ramen broth was not genuinely boiled, but instead, it was made from instant concentrate, making it taste extremely artificial, with the broth clinging onto the tongue. Took a photo of the remaining sediments found at the bottom of the bowl, something not natural of elite ramen.

Overall, experience was a huge let down, we were out of the restaurant within 15 minutes, after having queued for 5x as long. I didn’t even finish my bowl of noodles. Could have gone for instant cup noodles instead. Will never be back, will not...
