Third time we’ve eaten here. First two times— proper Tex Mex food. Crispy carnitas tacos, delicious guac and chips and great chicken quesadillas. Friendly service by 3 dudes who Knew their stuff. Today— completely different crew and the food was inedible. I ordered two carnitas tacos and chips and guac to share. They gave me chicken tacos that were dry. I returned the order for my carnitas and was given 3 wet carnitas with black beans— both were so wet the tacos fell apart snd made a soup in my basket. I ate the guac (strangely acid not fresh tasting) because I was famished. I didn’t have time to complain and to wait for another meal but i did ask them why they served me that sloppy meal. They looked like— oh I don’t know its because the beans are soupy— it wasn’t the beans , they didn’t bother to cook the carnitas on the grill to crisp them or at least sieve the cooking juices to keep the taco crisp. Thats laziness or poor teaching by their chef. Won’t be back and will pass the word to my family and friends to stay away. Too bad they let down the quality...
