We have just returned from our first stay in Cadaqués and we are very happy that we chose to stay at Hotel Llané Petit. A beautiful spot, a five minute walk from the centre, a walk that we enjoyed every day and night along the small coves and past the beautiful & interesting scenery. The hotel is set on the edge of a lovely place and is very peaceful and inviting. To wake up and enjoy a splendid breakfast and be on the beachfront was a unique experience that we won't forget. The style and decor of the hotel is very warm and inviting, I enjoyed the scandi touches and clean aesthetic. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice, cereals, fresh juice, cheeses, hams, cakes, cooked options. Very nice. There's some wonderful bars and restaurants very close to the hotel. We didn't have the chance to try the hotel for dinner but we will of course be back! All of the staff are lovely, cleaners very friendly and super clean of course. Lovely toiletries. A special thanks to the hotel manager as upon our first morning he encountered two grumps who'd been woken very early by nearby building work. It was clear the manager was not happy too and had been in touch with the local council, he immediately gave us a key to a room at the front of the hotel with sea view and the rest of our stay went undisturbed. I was very impressed with his handling of the situation and swift and proactive solution. Many thanks from Clare & Jack, what a wonderful hotel you have - thank you for a...
Read moreMy wife and I just had our third stay at Hotel Llane Petit since 2009. Actually, we had stayed in Cadaques earlier, in 1997, in a different hotel on the other side of the center of town. At the end of that trip, we took a walk along the waterfront to the side where Llane Petit is located and discovered this gem. ||||The next time we came to Cadaques, in 2009, we reserved a room there and it confirmed our view that Llane Petit is the perfect place to stay. We returned to Cadaques in 2013 and stayed there for a second time. I then wrote a review for TripAdvisor, telling people that this was the ideal hotel. It is away from the throngs of ice cream eating tourists in the center of town but is still within a ten minute walk of excellent seafood restaurants facing the sea.||||What we realized on this last stay, taken earlier this month, is that the hotel keeps getting better. It is continuously but in a low-key way upgrading its rooms, lobby and breakfast area. The buffet breakfast is delicious and offers everything: eggs, bacon, fresh fruit, pastries, freshly squeezed orange juice, different coffees and teas, plus much more. Our room had a balcony with a perfect view of the sea; and the staff from top to bottom was accommodating and friendly.||||We would never stay anywhere else in Cadaques other than Hotel Llane Petit. We...
Read moreI have received in this hotel the WORST SERVICE EVER. I was totally shocked by one of their staff's behaviours, the white blond woman on the reception.
The information that handles their staff and the instructions for the check-out were confusing and we were rushed-out to leave the hotel because they had new clients coming in, which that made us feel uncomfortable. Even the day before and in the early morning, they mentioned that it wouldn't be any problem for us doing the regular time check-out but leaving later enjoying some of their services. Once you are out of the check-out schedule, they don't really care about you and they (this woman) make you notice it, mentioning literally. It is such a pity because some of the people in the hotel is nice and educated but this woman was extremely disrespectful, manipulative and passive-agressive. It is not rare, that sharing with some friends that have been there too, they have had the same bad experience with this woman.
For someone that is from the area and has lived in several countries and cultures, it is a shame to see this type of behaviours coming from a business that should care about their clients and specially seeing it in...
