Hotel Morlans Suites “Adults Only” — Hotel in Calvià

Here is our feedback to everything we tried out.

On the good side: Good interior, very clean and modern. Everything is very light and cozy. Suits are super big, perfect for two people to have an amazing week together Very good and well done meals, there is always enough for everyone, healthy food and if you like it, some fast food. Also for the sweets one, there is always some cake or fruits (and if you like ice cream) Two pools, one on the rooftop is just for adults, very nice view to the ocean, there is always a sun bed and umbrella available. Plus there is a phone to call the bar and order some cocktails Fair prices, for lunch and anything else. For a good lunch you pay between 10-20€ and cocktails are around 5,50€ each. They are super tasty too! Super calm! If you look for a relaxing place, this is it!! You can sleep without any noises, we really liked the dark curtains, which let us sleep waaay longer Cute and kind service! All waitresses were super nice, fast and kind, even when it’s super full. They try the best to help and can speak at least 2/3 languages (Spanish of course, English and German) Perfect location, within 5 minutes you are at the beach with amazing blue (and clear) water! There are sun beds & umbrellas for around 5€ each - and bars or supermarkets to get cold drinks Also a tiny city is there, you can buy a lot of souvenirs or can do some grocery shopping, even on sundays! There is an option to rent a car in the hotel (for very fair prices), so you can do a road trip to Palma, which is just a 28-30 minutes drive

On the bad side: If you are vegan there is no option besides salads. Vegetarians get at least some options - but if you eat meat you will be in heaven for sure! Rooms smell a bit, because of the drain (which is kinda like normal in south European countries). If you open the window it will be gone within 1-2 minutes Safe is not for free and costs around 3€ a day, which I really don’t understand, as it should be in the interest of the hotel too that guests and their stuff are safe Some pillows on the sun beds smell weird and disgusting Not a really bad note, but the hotel guests are oldies but Goldie’s. • Strange location…not really four stars.

Booked and paid a „Junior Suite“ but the a/c in the room was not working, even making the room hotter. No progress after two repair efforts by the hotel technician. Result: it was hotter in the room with a/c on (ca. 34 C degrees according to the display) than outside during that evening (ca. 27 degrees according to the weather app). The technician tried to explain the a/c was programmed to 26 degrees and that this is actual the problem….26 degrees wouldn’t have been a problem though…34 degrees however was.

Plus: Water pressure in the bathroom was close to zero and someone „stole“ the shower head together with the shower hose.

Unbelievable that the hotel was built only three years ago.

• Happiest downgrade ever

In the end I was even more than happy to agree to a„downgrade“ from „junior suite“ to to „standard room“ but with a functioning a/c and shower.

But even this „downgrade“ (of course without any partial refund) was not that easy and needed phone escalation with the „BiG Boss“ Barbara….the reception offered only a dark room close to entrance without any privacy.

• Summary

All in all: better choose other locations to stay. There are numerous options with a working a/c and a functioning shower in Peguera. And this even without any personal phone escalation with Big...

J'ai réservé huit nuits à l'hôtel Morlans Garden, mais à ma grande surprise, nous avons été surclassés dans un autre établissement de la même chaîne, le Morlans Suites Hôtel. Nous étions ravies de ce changement et avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cet hôtel. (Nous n'avons rien eu à payer en supplément, malgré le fait que nous avions initialement réservé dans un hôtel 3 étoiles et avons finalement séjourné dans un 4 étoiles).||Tout d'abord, nous sommes arrivées très tard, il devait être aux alentours de 2h du matin. À notre grande satisfaction, nous avons eu droit à un petit repas rapide, une attention que j'ai trouvée particulièrement agréable.||L'hôtel était magnifique, avec une décoration à la fois élégante et minimaliste. Au centre se trouvait une grande piscine, et il y avait aussi une piscine sur le toit que nous n'avons malheureusement pas eu le temps d'essayer. Notre chambre était très spacieuse et d'une propreté irréprochable, avec un matelas d'une qualité exceptionnelle. J'y ai passé mes meilleures nuits. Le personnel était tout simplement incroyable. Je tiens à souligner particulièrement Camilla, Juan, Sebastián, Rosa, ainsi qu'une dernière personne dont je n'ai malheureusement pas retenu le prénom, mais qui se reconnaîtra sûrement. Vous avez été formidables avec nous! Nous avons été très bien accueillis et avons davantage aimé ce séjour grâce à vous! Merci pour votre gentillesse, votre bienveillance, vos sourires du matin et votre accueil exceptionnel qui vont nous manquer :(||Je ne pourrais pas terminer ce message sans mentionner les repas. Nous avions opté pour la formule demi-pension, comprenant le déjeuner et le dîner. C'est la première fois que je mange aussi bien dans un hôtel, j'avais l'impression de découvrir un nouveau restaurant chaque soir. Chaque repas offrait une variété de petits plats issus de différentes cuisines, il y en avait pour tous les goûts, même pour moi qui ai certaines restrictions alimentaires.||Encore une fois, le personnel a été aux petits soins, veillant avec une attention remarquable à ce que nous ne manquions de rien. Leur dévouement et leur souci du détail ont véritablement enrichi notre expérience, transformant notre séjour en un moment inoubliable. Il me semble essentiel de souligner l'incroyable travail de toute l'équipe de cet hôtel. Chaque membre du personnel a contribué à rendre notre séjour exceptionnel par leur professionnalisme et leur sincère désir de nous offrir le meilleur service possible. Nous avons eu un véritable coup de cœur pour ces personnes qui ont fait preuve d'une telle bienveillance à notre égard. Leur chaleur humaine et leur efficacité ont fait toute la différence, et c'est avec une grande joie que je reviendrai certainement dans cet hôtel, en espérant de tout cœur retrouver cette équipe exceptionnelle. Je vous souhaite à tous beaucoup de courage dans la poursuite de votre travail remarquable, et j'espère avoir l'occasion de vous revoir bientôt.||Si je devais suggérer quelques améliorations, je recommanderais de mettre des bouilloires à disposition dans les chambres et de fournir davantage d'informations à l'arrivée sur les installations et équipements de l'hôtel, comme la présence d'une salle de sport. Par ailleurs, il serait utile de préciser que certaines chambres sont mal insonorisées. Par exemple, nous avons séjourné dans la chambre 126, située à côté du bar, avec seulement une porte pour nous en séparer.
