Trattoria La Fontana Pizzería — Restaurant in Calvià

Had dinner here, staff were somewhat slow to take our order even though the place was at maybe 15% seating capacity. The menu is a little overwhelming with the shear number of food choices, which can make people not want to choose. We ordered drinks, a chicken soup each and I ordered pizza, the waitress asked if the pizza after I was finished the soup to which I answered yes please. A waiter brought us our soup and it was delicious 😋 but about 30 sec later he asked if I want my pizza now or when I finished my soup I said after. After We finished our soup and put our bowls to the side of the table we waited quite a while for them to be cleared, with staff walking by empty handed several times. When cleared I asked for pizza and it came 30 sec later, from the aforementioned interactions and the taste I assume that the pizza sat on top of an oven waiting since my soup was served. Not a good experience, hopefully it was just an off...

The three of us were waiting thirty minutes to get our drinks first, then two of us waited another half hour for the meals, which was still acceptable. However one of us had to wait another forty minutes for their food while the other two had already finished their dish. One of us had a three course meal including a dessert. Just when we were asking for the bill and the dessert they informed us that the desert had sold out.

Overall terrible service, the pizzas had no flavour plus a strangely textured cheese topping. Also non of the staff paid attention to any of the customers and their needs, including us and the neighbouring table wanting to pay. The wait for the bill took another fifteen minutes and everything at a time where only 5 tables were occupied, while about 6 -10 staff were in the kitchen/ bar area.

The worst experience in all Mallorca so far. Can absolutely not recommend this...

Diese Restaurant ist nur empfehlenswert, wenn alle anderen am Boulevard von Paguera geschlossen haben. Ich habe als Vorspeise eine Tomatensuppe bestellt, die zwar nach Tomaten schmeckt, jedoch ziemlich dünn und mit viel Sahne versehen war. In der Karte gab es diverse Pastavarianten, die man nach Gusto, mit der entsprechenden Soße, bzw. Zubereitungsart bestellen konnte. Ich entschied mich für Tortellini al amtricana, Das ist eine Tomatensoße mit Schinken in Zwiebeln. Die Bedienung wies mich daraufhin, dasselbe die Tortellini mit Spinat gefüllt seien. Das fand ich in Ordnung. Als das Gericht kam und ich die ersten drei Tortellini gegessen hatte, musste ich das Essen leider zurückgeben. Denn die Tortellinis waren noch so hart, dass man sie trotz der guten Soße einfach nicht hinunter bekam. Die Spinatfüllung der Tortellini war einfach nur ein trockener grüner Klumpen. Der Speisekellner kam, da er gesehen hat, dass ich aufhörte zu essen. Ich erklärte ihm die Situation und er meinte, dass es normal wäre. Dann nahm er meine Gabel und drückte damit die Tortellini auseinander. Daraufhin nahm er den Teller samt Gabel mit. Wenige Minuten kam er mit dem Teller wieder allerdings ohne Gabel und war so schnell wieder fort. Nun saß ich da mit meinem Teller aber ohne gängiges Besteck. Meine Begleitung hatte zum Glück Pizza und brauchte die Gabel nicht. Zurück zu den Tortellini, die waren zwar etwas weicher, dafür aber so heiß, dass man sie unmöglich esse konnte. Und bei dreißig Grad Außentemperatur auch eine Weile warten musste bis das möglich war. Im Endeffekt wurde mir kein neues Gericht zubereitet sondern wahrscheinlich einfach in einer Pfanne geschwenkt, um sie etwas weiter zu garen. Die Grünen Klumpen, welche die Spinatfüllung darstellen sollten, war nämlich noch immer vorhanden. Positiv bleibt zu erwähnen, dass die Pizza meiner Begleitung geschmeckt hat.
