TABERNA EL BURLAERO ( adults only ) — Restaurant in Calvià

Not sure how this place got anywhere above a 4, food was ok, tasted like tinned meatballs with rosemary, woman serving was lovely but that was it, on way to the toilet i noticed the kitchen smelled of old grease, place wasn't clean, food was mediocre at best. Return, nope not ever, fire extinguisher was coated in a layer of dust, if they can't clean front of house I dread to think what kitchen was like

I do not and have never given a review for the wrong place or given a review for somewhere that was not open, luckily I have more photos ,it was open we were definitely there and to say we were not is simply a lie.

I get any restaurant can have a bad meal, a simple sorry would have done, to reply in such a manner says all you need to know.

I have added the pic of bread, bowl and table taken fri 9.59pm, odd time for a restaurant to be closed.

Visited tonight and had to take the time to write this review. Went in around 21:00. The restaurant closes at 22:00. The food was great but the service was horrendous. Unbeknownst to us we were interfering in our servers plans for the evening. We only figured this out when she sat two tables away and watched us eat, while on the phone, having a conversation in Spanish. Was quite an exciting conversation (since I understand Spanish). Excellent food and wonderful service! We ordered the patatas bravas, the prawns in garlic, the tortilla and the calamari and everything was so delicious (we were a party of two). Our tapas came with some lovely warm breads too. I’ve had Spanish tapas in many places but these tapas were truly authentic, high quality and yummy. Our waitress was friendly and welcoming, and she brought us some lovely complimentary cake at the end of our fantastic meal. The chef also introduced himself and asked if we were enjoying our tapas, which was a really nice touch. We had a lovely experience here and would highly recommend it. Muchas gracias...
