El Balcón Magaluf — Restaurant in Calvià

Me and a friend was food poisoned by eating here. It was the only food we ate during the day and at night I threw up all the food. In addition to that, we experienced incredibly bad service, bad staff and not a nice place to eat like some of the online comments are saying!! The food did not arrive until 50-55 minutes after ordering. Highly recommend to rather go to one of the other great restaurants along the beach! I have never complained online directly to a restaurant, but this restaurant sadly deserves no credit. One of us don’t eat meat, so switched out the meat on her pasta carbonara to onion and mushrooms witch they said was okay, then when the bill came they added like 4 extra euros as a surprise. When we arrived, we were seated and set up at the table. We were told a few minutes later that pizzas were unavailable. We ordered two pasta dishes, long wait, took just under 45 minutes for food to arrive, there were only 4 tables in the restaurant. Very small portions. I had the tag bolognaise, I found it delicious and very tasty. My partner had a mushroom pasta dish which had no flavour at all and was mostly oil. Both dishes were very oily which left us feeling a bit ill afterwards. Staff were very nice and pleasant. A little bit longer waiting time for the pizza when there are max 5 tables in the restaurant. Still, no problem. The pizza came dry, no flavor in 4 quesos, I don’t know what it is, but don’t sell it anymore. Buffalo pizza should come with buffala, not with regular mozzarella, and warm( put it again in oven for 20-30 seconds, do not serve it cold). Tomato sauce - no flavor, no salt, pizza almost cold because mozzarella and prosciutto came straight out of the fridge.
