This is the first time I’ve ever left a Google review — and that should already say a lot. Meson Español truly blew me away. The food was so good it felt like fine dining, yet the prices are incredibly friendly and honest. You can tell the chef is exceptionally talented — every dish is full of flavour, perfectly balanced, and beautifully presented.
But it’s not just the food that makes this place special. The moment you walk in, you feel something — a warm, authentic atmosphere where every team member seems genuinely passionate about what they do. It feels like a family, and that energy flows right into the service, the cocktails, and the entire dining experience.
Everything is made with care and love — and you can taste it in every bite and sip. I enjoyed my dinner so much that I made the decision to come back the next day. I just needed to experience more.

Cheap and cheerful, the food was fresh and came out quickly. It seemed to be a couple running the place, the mrs gave friendly service and the mister was cooking for the whole restaurant. The mrs making our tinto veranos at the table when we needed refills was very charming!

We opted for patatas bravas, chipirones (SO good we ordered a second!) and some other bits that I can’t remember but enjoyed nonetheless.The potatoes for the bravas were boiled instead of fried which had me skeptical but they were surprisingly good!

Scampi a l’ail were okay, mussels also- but both of it nothing wow.
The resto is small, hot inside, but there are two small tables outside. Do make reservation (the lady didn’t need our name or number she said she will remember and she indeed did😄) .
The positive things is the lady who is doing the service, she is very friendly and nice. But she tend the restaurant by herself, so we had to wait a bit for everything.
