Can Vidal Boutique Rooms exceeded our expectations in absolutely every area. The attention to detail, quality of service and consideration was impeccable. If you’re looking for a five star experience this is it.
Can Vidal Boutique Rooms is leading the way in what it means to be a modern hotel - its attention to detail in all things makes one feel at home, on vacation. From the small details like being able to log into your own Netflix account (Smart TV allowing one to log into their accounts on Netflix, YouTube, Prime video, etc) to being able to cook your own food in your shared kitchen, with private fridge, pantry spaces.
Overall, most notable for us would be the very welcoming feeling one gets upon arriving and throughout one’s stay. Petra (the host) was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Communication was excellent - she was supportive in every way. Such professionalism is to be admired. The facilities and offerings were very “homey” and felt as if the hotel welcomed you to REALLY enjoy the area - not just stay a night and move on - from the shared rooftops, kitchen, books in Germany English and Spanish, and all the other facilities and details. We loved every aspect of this place and would highly recommend it. Below, some further details highlighting our experience.
DESIGN AND AMBIENCE Upon entry, we were pleasantly surprised, by the well-built, stylish, modern decor and warm welcoming feeling. The design and ambience of the hotel was not only visible upon entry but also in the rooms. The quality of design and furniture was impressive. It was well styled and felt very much as though you were at home, in a custom designed apartment vs. a standard hotel room. A side note that I appreciated was the lighting - The lighting in the public spaces (shared terrace, stairways, entrance, kitchen, etc) and room was fantastic and gave each environment a warm ambience with a underlying tone of quality modernism.
ROOM SPACE AND CLEANLINESS The room space was also great. The dimensions and layouts of the room were very thought through, spacious and comfortable. The cleanliness was immaculate - 10/10.
SHARED SPACES AND FACILITIES The shared access to the rooftop terrace and indoor/ outdoor seating area was great - while it was rather cold when we visited, we made use of the terrace and kitchen and felt right at home. The kitchens were great - so well thought through with an individual fridge and pantry per room.
PET FRIENDLINESS We also brought our dog and loved that Petra had organized a dog bowl and bed for her. Definitely one of the most pet friendly places we have stayed at during our visit in Mallorca.
LOCATION AND PARKING As far as location goes - it is excellent. We were very central to many of the hotspots in town, from the Inca Thursday markets to the hottest restaurants in town. We found it very centrally located and easy to get around. While this can also be a common issue for those with cars, Petra organized parking at a central park house at a highly discounted rate which was...

I had booked though agoda (don't do that), and wasn't told I had to check in online to get the access code. Luckily the owner Petra had the foresight to realise this and arrived at the same time as me to let me in and do the particulars. She was friendly, attentive and welcoming.
My room was well appointed, with a nice balance between modern fixtures and fittings while showing enough of the building's original charm. The bed was comfortable, the wet room shower was hot and had good pressure.
Each room gets it own lockable fridge and cabinet in the shared kitchen, which was clean and has cook wear, plates, basics like salt, pepper, oil etc. So knocking up some food is straightforward. You then get to enjoy it on the roof terrace which has plenty of seating. There's also a shower up there but I'm not that messy and eater. (I presume for the sunbathers).
By the looks of the images the other rooms are just as nice, or nicer...
Read moreVery good value for money. The room is high spec and very clean. Everything about the hotel is very well taken care of/ well thought ; the beddings are 5 star hotel quality, slippers and bath robe provided, etc. Each rooms also have their own kitchen utensils, fridge, plates etc - you can cook in the shared kitchen area.
Petra is a great host, very responsive and helpful. Do note that you might need to double check the entry code as mine changed last minute and i panicked a bit given that i came late at night and couldnt come in.
Inca itself is a small town with nothing much to do. The area can be quite dodgy. As long as you dont venture out at night it should be...
