Sanvi Xerez Centro — Hotel in Jerez

A four person room, it was just as depicted -- four twin beds in a row in close configuration. No false advertising here.  Bathroom had a tub/shower, toilet, sink, bidet. No hair dryer and the toiletries were in single use packages (think ketchup), so no soap for hand washing. Not enough power outlets, there were nightstand lamps with no place to be plugged in, and so recharging in general was difficult for four people. No lift, so be prepared to haul your luggage up. Free WiFi, and the main floor had a TV/lounge area. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful, just keep in mind that it is not manned 24 hours. ||Location was good. On the map it looked much farther from downtown than it was. An easy walk to the town square, Tio Pepe, the Alcazar, etc.  ||Garage parking for a fee (10 euro a night), if you reserve it in advance. The door for cars is on a different street, but the door for people is in the hotel, so very convenient for luggage.  ||It did the trick for the night. If it were just me or two people total I'd consider again, but for a bigger group, it's a little close...

Hotel is very dated. Owners don’t help clients. We asked a parking place but they don’t even give any advise. They just don’t reply. The outside door key they gave us diid not work and we got locked out late night. In the morning it rained outside and a lot of water leaked inside the room throught the walls. All of our suitcases got wet. Terrible old hotel and unhelpful staff. Very uncomfortable beds. No outside window inside the room. Dark and airless place. I highly reccomend staying...

Parking is a little tight, but that seems to be true of all the area. The lady at reception is happy to direct you to it as well as it is a ltitle tricky to find. Rooms are very clean although aircon is noisy (but it works very well, which is great considering the heat!), and the staff are very friendly. Not english speakers, the owner is Portuguese, but they can communicate enough to be understood. Very good for the price given and for a place you just need to crash...
