I came here many years ago and they used to send you an email with the rules, one of which was that you shower with soap before entering the baths and another that you be quiet so others can relax and enjoy. They don't enforce these rules on site anymore, and the emails when you book don't come out telling you what to expect. Every single time I come now it's groups of Spanish or Germans talking at full volume like they're at the beach or feria (especially when they get to the novelty of the cold plunge pool) and they haven't seen each other for five years. I don't know why they can't be quiet for 90 minutes, but it seriously diminishes my enjoyment because I can't tune them out. The locker room are shabby and smell musty and old, there is no lock on the toilet door, and people leave the doors open to the female locker room so anyone walking by can look inside- no privacy. I don't know why I keep paying 30 euros to be annoyed by other people who can't be quiet and have consideración for other people who come...
Read moreWhat a relaxing experience. It could not been improved upon. You pay when you book. I actually did this in person as I wanted to be sure I would be able to find it. I paid for the 60 minute baths and 30 minute massage. It was bliss.
The pool area and changing room were all clean. the staff were very friendly. The woman who did my massage was brilliant. I know it is not a RMT massage but she got into all those knots.
The pools are warm, cold and hot and you are supposed to go from one to the next. I did that before my massage but after my massage, it was the warm and hot one.
You are told to forget about time. They come and get you at your massage time, then come and tell you when your time was up. I was so relaxed at the end of it.
Oh and how can I forget the tea. They serve you tea in the pools and it was delicious. And this is coming from a non tea drinker.
A great way to spend an afternoon....

Carmen was exceptional and this more than made up for the rest. The baths for me were disappointing . Firstly had been expecting a hammam (reasonably enough as this is in the website name!) But it's actually just three shallow pools of tepid hot and cold water. (No hydromassage etc) Boring for me but I thought I'd give it a go. But getting into the tepid bath , it had a kind of scummy slimy feel to the bottom which made me best a hasty retreat. When I told the staff they were quite chilled about it, and when I said I'll skip the baths and go straight to the massage, no discount was offered. Ah well! It was a massage to remember and so hence the three star review. The moorish architecture is pleasant and staff too, aside from the...
