Beyond Amadores Apartment 14 — Hotel in Mogán

We recently stayed in apartments 2 and 3. We were 3 adults and 1 baby in each apartment. Although advertised as suitable to accommodate us, they really are best suited to 2 adults with 1 or 2 children as they are studio apartments with privacy provided by sliding glass doors for the main bedroom. The small box room was very stuffy at night but improved by leaving the sliding door open a little. The apartments are definitely showing signs of wear and tear, floors and furniture. The metal floor strip at the bathroom of apartment 3 was loose and had lifted, causing a stubbed toe. The large wall clock in apartment 3 didn’t work (always 6:30😁) As a self catering facility the apartments lacked some basic necessities, for example, oven gloves, tin opener, ice cube trays (great size fridge freezers) Apartment 3 had no chopping board and apartment 2 had a dangerous flimsy travel kettle which we had to manually switch off ! And the toilet cistern in apartment 2 was constantly dripping. Apartment 2 had no broom or dustpan and brush. One day I saw the cleaner at another apartment on our floor, I waved and acknowledged her asking that she take our full bin bag which I left outside our door. When we returned from the beach it was still there and something had chewed into it. I cleaned up the mess and went looking for somewhere to dispose of the rubbish bag. I later found out that different apartments are cleaned by different cleaners. FYI- The hot tub/jacuzzi seen in the photos is only available in certain apartments. The sun beds are uncomfortable and a few sun brollies were broken but the pool was lovely and the pool area was quiet. Great views. Angie, the rep who checked us in was lovely. Some attention to lots of detail would make a big difference to...

Other reviews are more or less true, but there are few very annoying things, why I wouldn't recommend this place.

Apartment starts to show wear and tear signs (especially floors and furniture) and doesn't feel as luxurious as in pictures. Poor Wi-fi - very slow, unusable at a times. Apartment more suitable for no more than 2 people, as it's basically a large studio, second bedroom is tiny, closet type room with space only for bunk bed and nothing else. It has no own a/c unit and gets very stuffy overnight, our children had hard time sleeping there. Opening window does help, but then you get dazzled by a very bright light from the outside corridor. Absolutely unprofessional communication with the host - rude, on the edge of aggressive even. Maintenance person on site is very nice, but doesn't speak a word other than Spanish, which doesn't help solve...

Had a super relaxing time, Apartment is studio style, with a small extra bedroom with a single / pull out twin. All open plan perfect for a couple, and maybe small child. We had Apartment 9 which has a big terrace and hot tub everything was working as it should, host was responsive when question asked. Views only added to the experience and we really enjoyed our stay.

Smallest annoyance is the key position to get in the main gate.... it is so arkward have to watch your fingers don't...
