SPAR Puerto Rico III — Local services in Mogán

Best Spar I’ve ever visited and most comprehensive healthy eating supermarket I’ve seen in my travels around the Canary Islands. It’s clearly a premium Spar with such a great wide selection of foods and drinks.

Underground parking is free for first three hours.

There are fresh vegetable, cheese, meat and fish sections and a great wide selection of everything you could want. Loved the selection of rice cakes and nuts/dried fruits. Even the huge supermarkets in the UK aren’t as good. The local plain yogurt from the Canaries is delicious.

Separate sections (which are actually separate rooms) for both wine and beer are excellent. Fresh bakery has a wide selection of breads and cakes/biscuits. Very much like the 0.90 euro double...

Pretty much everything you need. Reasonably priced. Taxi rank right outside. The only issue we had was on the 3rd July 2023 3:30pm the women behind the bakery counter was quite rude to my partner. She was mopping the shop floor in front of the counter and got upset and said something behind my partners back for stepping on it to get some bread. I actually thought she was joking until she walked around the back of counter and I heard her say (b*h) to another worker on the deli counter. I didn't say anything to my partner because I knew she would flip out, but there was nothing else my partner could have done unless she could float to the bread. Not the best of customer services. Today (31.10) went to buy washing powder and saw Colon on promotion for €9.90 only to find out at the tills that it’s actually €17.60. When I confronted the cashier about it, I was told that the promotion was only valid until 23rd of October. But why the promotion price was still displayed on the shelf if it isn’t valid? You are misleading your customers and promoting false advertising. The cashier shrugged his shoulders and didn’t say a word. Bad customer service, useless management! Not going back...
