We ate here twice during our holiday, the first time was nice but we shouldn’t have bothered visiting a second time. The first time, we were mostly served by an English lady with blonde hair & the lady with the red/brown hair, both very lovely. The food was nice. We ordered mozzarella sticks, Parma harm Spanish bread, the chateaubriand to share with chips & gratin. Huge portion sizes so it was worth the money. Cocktails were okay, a bit bland. There was one member of staff, the tall blonde lady with a longish pony tail who was a bit rude & not very pleasant when she was cutting the beef & setting up the grilling stone. However, on our second visit her behaviour/attitude towards us was appalling. It was appalling towards the other staff members too, how she thinks acceptable to speak to customers or colleagues that way, I can’t understand. We were waiting outside, we could see it was busy & it wasn’t a problem, we were happy to wait. The lady with red/brown hair cleared up a table & brought us in but it wasn’t clear which table she meant, as she said in the corner & it was set up. We headed towards the one in the corner, near the bar, the tall blonde lady was behind it & said to us “no chateaubriand, it’s too busy you can’t have it” even though we hadn’t decided what we were having! We started sitting at the table we assumed was ours, the tall blonde lady comes over says “no you can’t sit here, it’s too busy, you’re in the way, sit somewhere else”. She was incredible rude to us when she said this. Firstly, instructions where we should sit should’ve been clearer, someone should’ve led us to the table, rather than specifically say one area of the restaurant but actually mean a completely different area. Also, why set up a table that’s in the way! Funnily enough, the table she sat us at wasn’t even clean, it had guacamole on it from the previous diners! She came back to wipe it, put knives & forks on the table but even her behaviour towards doing this was negative, the way she slammed things on the table like we were the problem or being difficult? Thankfully, this was the last interaction from her horrible customer service. Another lady with shorter blonde hair & glasses, was very polite & friendly. It almost felt she & the red/brown haired lady were trying to make up for the other woman’s behaviour. We ordered from the Mexican menu, quesadilla for starters, chicken fajitas & chicken chimichanga. The starter & fajitas were okay, a bit dry & bland but the chimichanga was really nice. I couldn’t eat it all so I took it to takeaway. In hindsight, I wish we left as soon as we sat down. It ruined our experience but we wanted to “stick it out” because we wanted to try the Mexican menu. It’s difficult to say it’s worth a visit or not, it is if you’re being served by the other staff members but...
Read moreThe filet was to big - perhaps they should ask if you would have a steak at 300 g on your dish?! They asked about how we wanted our meat, asked for medium, for medium/rare. The lack off seasoning the food, is a huge problem for me. Don’t anyone use salt in the Canarian islands? My boyfriend got a bernaisesauce, witch was so sour from vinegar, that it wasn’t worth eating. My eyes got big, when the chef took a raw peace of chicken a put on top of the ribeyes! Don’t put more types of raw meat together, people can get sick! Over all it’s a great restaurant, and one of the few good in the Europa Center. The staff is nice and fast - defiantly the best part...
Read moreBest food I've had since I've been here. 9 days in and after 1 awful experience and the rest pretty average the meal here has been by far the best. Family of 5 with one son with ASD and a picky eater, the waiter was excellent with him and gave us time to order. We had a T-Bone, fillet steak, Burrito, fajitas and Tacos. Everyone of us enjoyed the food, the steaks have been the best me and my wife have had. Highly recommend and we will be going back. 10 stars if I could.
** Also has an allergy table for each meal at the back of the menu, which was impressive and the only one we've seen here. Which was good for my wife who has a...
