After reading reviews on this hotel regarding the decor, I will agree the hotel is dated, but it's ok. Yes, the hotel needs modernising, but the main thing in our opinion is that it's clean. The maids I will say are amongst the best I have ever seen. They are polite and do an amazing job with the rooms. The staff are helpful and friendly. ||We stayed half board for a week, the food is of good quality and plentiful. The breakfasts are excellent. My only niggle in the restaurant is the staff start to clear the buffet a bit too early for the stated 9pm finish, this caused frustration to us and a few other guests. So if dining after 8.15pm, be mindful that they start clearing the food away around 8.40/5.||There's a bar but no entertainment. However, a pool table is available at 2 euro per game. ||I really wanted to give a 5 star review as the food and staff are really good, but during a full week, only one lift was working that can only take two people at a time. Also, we were up and down on the waiting list for a fridge for the room. One day, we were next in the list then we slid back down to number four. Maybe a fridge should be reserved in advance before we arrived. ||Now.....one for the aviation geeks (avgeeks). The best rooms for aircraft views are from rooms 524, 526 and 528. Rooms 424, 426 and 428 are also good but no lower floors. We asked for an aircraft view room and was given 431. It's good, but you will need a 500mm+ lens. You can see the landing runway but will need flight tracking apps/software.||Anyway, back on topic .......personally, for the price, it's good. Helpful and friendly staff, good food, pool is ok, bar is ok, the rooms are dated but they are really clean, the location is good just a 10 minute walk and you're on the beach, the bus stop is right outside for busses to Palma/Arenal/airport. Five minute bus ride to the airport at 5 euros per person. There is also a really good supermarket just 2/3 minutes walk away. ||Would we stay here again? Yes, of...
Read moreThe Spanish equivalent of the British comedy TV series "Benidorm" It has everything you need, but any extras here you will have to pay for, safe, Wi-Fi etc. The hotel overall is good for its age, although our room was a little tired to say the least. That said, everything worked, the room was clean, sheets & bins were changed/emptied daily and I found the bed surprisingly comfortable (but firm) As somone noted in an earlier post the walls are thin although typical of the 70's build period. Basically thin concrete shells, consequently if you have noisy neighbours above or to the sides i would recommend ear plugs. It wasn't a problem to us however, although if you are allocated rooms between 107-119 be warned they are located above the bar/stage area so you might be subject to the nightly entertainment, singers, karaoke & bingo! Which is fairly evident if you like it quiet. Thankfully this was curtailed around 11pm so didn't present too much of a problem for us. The breakfast was excellent and rates well above its 3 star status. The hotel is in a great location too, just 5 mins walk from the bus stop (airport & Palma) & a 10 min stroll to the harbour & beach. There are also a nice selection of small bars & shops close by. Overall it does what it says on the tin, it is officially rated as a 3 star, I've rated it a 2 only because our room was tired, had it been a little more modern & updated I'd have probably awarded it...
Read moreThe Mrs and I stayed here for the 2nd time (first time in 2022) from 31st May to 2nd June 2025.
The hotel itself is a bit dated, in need of renovation to bring it into the modern times but we rented a car this time around to explore the island so we only used the hotel to sleep in the evening times.
The staff are very friendly, the rooms are spacious enough for what we needed. No issue with the beds at all, quite comfortable. The balconies depending on which room you get offer some brilliant views.
As it is very close to the airport, you will hear aircraft taking off all the time. This wasn't an issue for us but the location to the beach etc is brilliant, short 5 minute walk to local amenities.
We didn't have any meals in the hotel so cannot comment on them, we opted to self cater while out exploring.
Overall the hotel is excellent if you just need somewhere to put your head down after a day of exploring, but otherwise the hotel itself doesn't recommend any other service that I would personally explore.
We feel that we got good value for what we needed it for, but do not book expecting the whole shebang. It is really just somewhere to go back to in the evening times - look at other hotels in the area if you want...
