It is my solo travelling and I stay here for 5 nights. It is a convenient location close to busy entertainment area, but not too close. Walking distance to local supermarket that sell fresh ingredients, as well as the beautiful beaches, miles and miles of it. ❤️ The down side of the it that some of the kitchen none stick pan is chipped. You also need to make sure do not put in the ingredients in the freezer even if you label it. Some greedy bastard will tear it off, and claim there were no label on it and they thought it was free. My seafood were stolen. Just buy some and leave it in the fridge, make sure you label it with a marker pen. The other issue is people are mindless to slam their doors. Really uneducated and selfish. Other than that, it will be a goid gestor to bring some ear plugs for yourself and to others because the hostel do not provide it. Most supermarket don't sell them.I had to go to many and finally bought 4 plugs for 2 euro. Ripped off price. Make sure you bring a very big umbrella from sport direct, one big and small towel, Euro phone charger, and a bar of soap for cleaning, and shaver before you travel. If you can bring along your own electric scooter even better. You will thank me for it after you come here. Drinking water is cheap. Keep in mind you have to buy drinking water from supermarket. I bought 8L for just €1.09 at discount price, but normally cost around €2. Taste of tap water is awful, not recommend to drink straight from it. Overall the hostel is clean and well maintain. There are washing/drier that you need to pay but very convenient, or you can hang at the room balcony. Travel wise is very convenient to take public transportation and visit places. The receptionist is friendly and helpful. You can get any recommendation from the desk from restaurant, trips and places. Ask them anything. Bus station is walking distance.Number 35 will taka you in town and connect to tram, train, buses, City market, literally the whole island. Make sure you have enough change as they only take cash. €2 every single trip, long distance buses from the interchange may vary.I paid €4.50 single to South West side of the island.Train and tram ticket to Sóller is €40 Euro but worth the price. Just go to the tram station early morning and you'll guarantee to get ticket. It will bring you to the West town. Only buy Train ticket if you go hiking because it will only occupy one whole day. You can pop in the kebab shop for €6 a kebab, drinks is €1.50-2.50. Old school coffee shop next to the hostel is a must because of cheap liquors on the menu. It remind me of my hometown that old folk drink in the morning for health benefits. Very similar here. I enjoyed my stay and I'll definitely come back again.

A perfect stay. I was little apprehensive because I don't ever stay in hostels but this was top class. The location is perfect. It's 8 minutes from the airport by bus (€5 cash only, no tap and pay), then only a few minutes walking to the hostel (you can see the hostel from the bus stop) then it is less than 5 minutes walking to the beach. There's a little cafe "Marvel" literally on the next block (1 minute walk), good coffee and great if you're on a budget. It's a good place to camp if you're early for check in/out etc. The hostel is very smart and very modern. I had a brief look around... There's some very smart common areas, lounges etc. I didn't use these but they were top class. The building has air con which was great because it was very hot. The layout of the the building and the rooms is very good, very well thought-out. The whole place is immaculate and very clean. If I had to give it any criticism, the only two minor niggles I could see were the light sensors in the room were a little too sensitive. If someone hadn't drawn the curtain up to the edges it would detect movement on the bunk and the light will continually come on. On the first night I realised my foot was setting it off and on the second night someone sleeping was setting it off. The curtains are full blackout curtains though so it was no issue.. it just seems like a waste of electricity. Secondly, in the morning when I was checking out, I felt bad going to the shower room then having to return to my room to pack everything into my backpack etc. I didn't want to disturb anyone. If there was a system in place, maybe extra lockers in the shower room or a dry cabinet in the shower to protect the backpack from water... I wouldn't have needed to go back into the room. I could have got changed in the shower room, organised my backpack there etc...some sort of system so you can keep things safe and dry temporarily while showering so you don't need to return to your room, even hooks in the shower cubicles would be helpful. These are just ideas. Overall this place scores 100% in my view, everything is perfect. The staff were very friendly and very helpful, it's a stunning place, location is perfect and I can't imagine any hostel being as good as this one. I would LOVE to return here. Thank you so much!!!

After my second stay at this hostel I immediately felt like home, as if they intentionally gave me the same room :-) It was great! I´m still blown away by the concept of food waste reducing: besides two fridges for the travelers´ food there is a special fridge only for shared food in the modern and pretty huge kitchen. You can put your leftovers (even a single slice of cheese) in there and it will get used up very soon. You really don´t have to buy your special pasta, because you´ll definitely find something to eat in the shared fridge or in the kitchen cabinets. From the sustainable point of view it´s a huge step forward and I miss such a system in each other hostel I stay at. The whole hostel is very clean and well-maintained, the cleaning staff works hard literally the whole day long, even at 6 a.m. or 10 p.m. Chapeau! Not to mention the nice and friendly reception staff, which is reachable 24/7, so you can check in at any time. I agree, the light connected with the motion detectors is annoying, but I can´t imagine any other solution. Every time I visit Palma I will stay at the BOC Hostel Beach, let it be my sort of holiday apartment :-)
