Las Brasas Steakhouse - Carnes Premium — Restaurant in Palma

I saw the previous comments of people about badly grilled meat and general dissatisfaction with the place, but I thought to myself: "Ah, this must've been a one-time case, or they're simply overexeggarating". Now, for all of you who read this review - believe them, and believe me! This was the -worst steakhouse experience of my life- !!! I went for dinner with two friends, and since it was the last day of our Mallorca trip we decided to go "big". A colleague ordered an Entrecote, the other a Premium Picanha, and I went with a T-Bone steak. The first two steaks should be medium-well, and I wanted mine to be medium-rare. What came back after waiting endlessly were two COMPLETELY RAW steaks, and mine that should've been medium-rare came back fully grilled through (see attached photos). Upon complaining that the first two steaks were raw the service did not take them back to the kitchen but instead brought a tiny grill, barely enough for one steak, and let my friends finish grilling their own meat. Funny enough the coal wasn't strong enough, so we had to ask a second time for some freshly lit coal. A chaos from start to finish. Mine unfortunately was beyond saving, and on the outside so chewy that i partly couldn't even swallow the pieces. In my whole life I have not eaten such a bad, and factually inedible steak. At some point we even wondered how you can mess up a simple piece of meat placed on a grill?! Definitely shows complete incompetence on the side of the grillchef. Finally only the entrecote was okay, after my friend finished grilling it, the PREMIUM picanha was left on the plate and my T-Bone steak almost got stuck in my throat and made me choke - and again, I am not exeggerating! In the end we obviously complained, but all that we received was an "Oh no, i'm sorry" from the waitress. For such an expensive T-Bone steak of 50€ i would've expected not to have to pay for this nightmarish experience, but nothing was offered. Hence, we paid a bill of around 150€ for something we didn't enjoy at all, and ended up going to another place ordering some other food (= spend more money) that at least made us feel satisfied and full. 0/5 experience!

EDIT: After the bold answer of the owner, I have to update my review. First of all, it is not the customers responsibility to make sure your waiters understand a language. Secondly, my friend who ordered the Entrecote is Spanish himself, so there was for sure no language barrier that provided such a bad experience. You should rather try to make sure your customers are satisfied, or reimburse them otherwise, because if such reviews continue I am not sure how much longer you will be able to keep...

Disappointed. We were doubting between this restaurant and Mama Muu, but the second was too far so we came here. We placed an order to hear two of the items we wanted were sold out whiles dinner service just started? Ok.

We got a bread basquet for two persons, two slices of bread. Table next to us 1 person and gets 3 slices. We don’t understand. It wasn’t anything special anyways so it’s fine.

We ordered the premium picaña MEDIUM RARE… it arrived on table already cut and far from medium rare. Almost well done. Dry. Thanks to some marblings, the beef was still a little edible. The presentation was also off. Three thing slices of potato next to the already cut beef.

All in all, disappointing will go in search for a second meal for this dinner.

thank you for the response, as your waiter was taking our order, we mentioned what we wanted then he told us that both items are out. We then had to think of other things we wanted, as I have asked your waiter for help and suggestions he did not give an ounce of help. With no help we had to make a decision but your waiter then walked away from our table as he thinks we are taking too long? It was not even rush hour. He could have advised us something and get going with the order, but not just mentioning names of meat your restaurant serves because I can also read them myself. I hope you can train your staff better for this sort situation. Like I said we have been doubting of coming here because of the recent reviews. Like others this visit also...

AVOID!! There is much better places to eat than here! We were looking for an early dinner and unfortunately the place we wanted to try wasn't open so we stumbled across this...bad decision! A table was pointed at for us to sit at. Once we had taken a seat the female waitress threw 2 menus on the table as she passed by. No interaction at all! It wasn't busy maybe 6 other tables. Once our order was taken we ended up with half of our starters and had almost finished them before the rest turned up. My friend ordered a burger that she said was dry and tasteless. I had the ribs that was greasy and again tasteless. We asked for salt and let's just say we are still waiting for it! We ended up sharing the salt from the table next to us. All the waiting staff seemed more interested in a table round the corner with two dogs...assumed they were friends...constantly at that table having a laugh...seemed we were an inconvenience to them!! This was the worst eating out experience we had on the island and over...
