Rude staff who clearly do not want to be there. After such great hospitality on the Camino it is extremely disappointing to visit such a poor representation of an Albergue. Beds were badly damaged, staff were rude to guests and made many stand outside in the blazing heat, rather than wait inside to register for a room.
Many just walked off in disgust at the confrontational reception staff. Lots of swearing and arguing amongst those staff. No peace and quiet as the staff continued to be boisterous and shout continually throughout the day. Finally stopping at around 11:30pm.
I have stayed here in this Aubergue in 2014 and it was very friendly. Its a case that they need to look at replacing mattresses and recruiting more pilgrim friendly staff or training in basic...
Read moreSuper nice staff, nothing to say on this, loved them, very patient and helpful for everything. In terms of comfort, after one week in a lot of albergue on the Camino and a week of wild camping before that (just so you know that I'm not a princess) the beds were the worst I experienced. During the night, the bed mattress stretches under you and you're basically in a little hole when you wake up, so not comfy at all, and they give you disposable covers for the mattress and the pillow that feels very cheap and brittle. Not that we should get silk sheets at all, but didn't feel good. It was fully booked when we were there so maybe that's why but also the showers were disgusting (hair everywhere) and the shower doors were broken and...
Read moreIs quite far from the city centre, about 30-40 min walk. There is supposed to be bus stop nearby but I don’t find, also I am cheap basta*d so I walked. 15 euros per night and they have a loooot of beds. You can reserve in advance by phone but not needed I am sure. Huge showers and toilets. U have to pay even for the disposable one use sheets. For lockers and for everything they can, they will charge you, but you don’t have to take it so. They have code for the doors so you can come after 22 which was the only reason I stayed here under 20 euros. They claim they donate all the...
