This campsite is about a 30 minute walk to the centre of Santiago de Compostela.|The pool is good but no seats or loungers and very little shade. The bar was nice and friendly and reasonable prices. We didn’t eat in the restaurant as it was expensive.|The real issues are with the extremely small pitches, motor homes/ vans are only 1 metre apart with hardy any space or privacy, everyone arriving looked disappointed and struggled to park up. Some pitches were only 4 m wide! I understand now why they asked “ how big is your van?” The pitches are the smallest ones I have ever seen in Europe, not good value for €42 per night. There are some larger pitches at the top of the site in row 700 but these were not offered. You cannot request a specific pitch or reserve one. Also, got stung for an extra charge for electricity, they didn’t make it clear to us that you have to ask at the time of booking (where in Europe do you not get electricity as part of the site fee?). The provision of electricity distribution is archaic, you have to run a mains lead across the roads, inevitably resulting in damage to the cable as traffic runs over it, a potential tripping hazard.|We will not be returning...
