We stayed in one of their larger apartments - not the Pension. We can't rate the apartments more highly. Ours is in a large new block, with enclosed balconies at either end - one with views towards the old town, the other overlooking the street. The apartment is large, very clean, has two bathrooms, a laundry and all the equipment you could want (TVs in each room, washing machine, drying room, dishwasher, fridge/freezer. The laundry had a big bottle of washing liquid, the kitchen was stocked with dishwashing tablets and washing liquid). The only thing missing was a kettle. The apartment was spotless, very modern and furnished with modern furnishings all in good condition. The apartment was cleaned every two days (with fresh towels too). The owner Vincent is super friendly and very helpful, but speaks no English at all. Read moreWe stayed in the Pension which was a normal apartment converted into four separate bedrooms, each with en-suite bathroom. Our room was simple but adequate although some fittings were of the home handyman type eg. a shelf in the shower cubicle at neck height in the shower door entrance that could cause some injury if you were not careful. The room was at the back of the unit overlooking an internal courtyard and was noisy. The owner, as other reviewers have commented, is helpful and works to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The pension had everything you needed with kitchen and washing machine etc. Location is an easy walk (uphill) to the main town centre. It was inexpensive but you got what you paid for. I didn't feel all the comfortable there because with the other rooms occupied the common use area was small and cramped. It was a cross between dormitory living and having your own bedroom and I think as I get older I want a bit more comfort...
Read moreWe stayed here in September 2012 for a few nights before we walked some of the camino and when we finished walking, Victor met us on arrival and was there if we needed anything or had any questions, He was very helpful, couldnt have done more for us.The apartment is very clean, spotless, there was a washing machine to laundry our clothes and balcony to dry them. It was quiet, as we were tired and was perfect for us to rest, Location is excellent just a few mins walk from the cathedral, restaurants shops etc.The grocery store right next door is very handy and has beautiful fresh fruit and veg. The option is there if you feel like cooking! Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and if we ever return we would...
