Absolutely amazing experience. Truly impeccable service. We ate our last meal of the Camino here and could not have asked for a better option. The zamburiñas were incredible, and both meat entrees (cabra con patatas and jabali con castañas) delicious. Nice wine list. We had to rush off to get to the airport so couldn't stay for dessert - it looked amazing - and the waitstaff was so helpful in rushing to get us out in time. If you have a meal in Santiago, you should make it here.

Our group came here for dinner and it was private as the restaurant was not open yet. The servers took great care of us and the food was above average. I'm not going to try to name the dishes but the salad was a mixed salad with either small pieces of cod or salmon and was very tasty. The entre for me was a beef dish with potatoes and was also very tasty and went well with the red wine that flowed freely from the servers. It was a great experience.

Exceptional dinner in Santiago. Just a short walk from the touristy spots in the old town, this establishment delivers quality and friendly service to its mostly local clientele. If you want authentic Galician food, this is the place. The best caldo gallego with fresh delicious greens. Their specialty, the cochinillo, was delicious and the veal chop superb. Also, excellent wine list. Highly recommended.

My girlfriend said, 'are you sure, it looks like a grandpa place' she then tried the food. Old school, old decor but the food is delicious. We had a simple tomato lettuce and onion salad (perfect), they brought us some complimentary cheese while we waited for our seafood soupy rice. Amazing rice, I strongly recommend this place if you are looking for local traditional food. Good food, good service. Great place for a nice intimate dinner to talk to friends or your partner. You will not impress them with the decor but the food...

This was recommended by the front desk office of our hotel, primarily because it was close to it. We had no expectations, other than to be nourished. Plus the name is as touristy as it can get. We were, therefore, surprised that Don Quijote is a Michelin-rated restaurant, and consistently so. We were there in June and the seafood was in abundance. Not to be missed are the arroz, percebes, cod, suckling pig and navajas. The service was top-notch and friendly; reservations...

I’ve totally lost faith in people’s abilities to leave accurate reviews. After reading the 3/4 star reviews of the food & decor, my Basque boyfriend dragged me here and wow am I SO THANKFUL he did.

The food was incredible. Authentic dishes packed with flavor. The seafood rice in broth made the world go round. I cannot understand where people went wrong here everything was wonderful including feeling like we were being hosted by family.

Just go and enjoy a homey,...
