Forward Suites II — Hotel in New Taipei

Awful night experience, I booked room in afternoon and when I went to check in after an hour from standard check in time. I can't believe the check in staff told me " your room is rent by others for rest, so you have to wait to check in until t21:30 or you could pay more money to exchange another type of room then you could get the room after an hour." Ok..... I don't know why I booked online? And force me to expense more to get a room that I booked in afternoon??? Btw the outside view of my window is a clean room(or storage space?)...it's very very creepy there is someone walk and talk nearby...

The room is clean but the smell of smoke is very strong. The door lock cannot be used and you can only rely on the door chain. It is very insecure and the sound insulation is extremely poor. You can hear the laughter next door when you lie on the bed. The most important thing is from 3 am to the morning At 10 o'clock, there were 3 sound of opening and closing the door. Because of the poor sound insulation, I couldn't tell whether it was the next room or someone opened the door to my room. It was terrible! ! ! The next day, I was told to check out and my eyes were rolled...

It's really strange check in time. We had to wait or pay additional charge for the day. We have traveled for long and when reach to hotel room wasn't ready. They said to wait for 4 hrs. Also TV has to fixed few time to make it working finally. Rooms are very very tiny. Our booking was for 2 separate beds from online and they said it's for one double bed. However Staff are very down to earth...
