We enjoyed our recent exceptional 3-night stay at Kashotsu Bettei. Not only were the owners extremely friendly and polite, but they also demonstrated excellence, ensuring a seamless and delightful experience.
The room was tastefully decorated and impeccably clean, creating a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere. The mattress, bedding, pillows, bedsheets, and cotton towels, along with the shower gel and shampoo, were of very high quality, comparable to 5-star hotels. They contributed to a restful night's sleep and elevated the overall sense of luxury.
The hotel is conveniently located near the City Hall MRT station and bus stops, a bustling shopping mall (Top City), and an array of shops and eateries, adding both convenience and excitement to our stay.
A simple yet more than adequate breakfast offered a delicious start to the day. Every detail, from the well-appointed room to the thoughtful amenities, showcased a commitment to excellence. The friendly and helpful staff further enhanced our experience.
Without a doubt, Kashotsu Bettei exceeded our expectations, making our stay truly memorable. A solid...
Read moreThis was a wonderful little independent hotel with a very friendly and attentive proprietor (with previous 5-star hotel work experience). The rooms and common areas are all very clean and well-decorated, with attention paid to even the small details. Everything had a very cultivated Japanese aesthetic.
I stayed in the smallest available room, with the tatami floor. Everything was tastefully decorated and clean, and the room was a very cozy and peaceful escape from my hectic days in the city. The bed was very comfortable.
In terms of common amenities, each floor has its own water dispenser for cold and hot water, which was very convenient. The breakfast hall has free refrigerated drinks and hot coffee available throughout the day for self-service. The breakfast service itself was quite nice and very Taiwanese in taste.
The location is located very close to 市政府捷運, and there are plenty of restaurants nearby.
I would definitely...
Read moreWe only spent a day in Taichung and decided to splurge a bit in a hotel for our honeymoon. I did not expect the place to be one of the best hotels I would ever be in. They even upgraded us to one of their best suites and I slept like a log! The moment you enter the hotel, you will be greeted by a really nice lady who despite of language barrier, were all smiles and is very welcoming. Entering the room was a bliss! The huge windows, the smell of a freshly cleaned room and laundered sheets. The amazing balcony. The bathroom with all the complete amenities, it is very high tech. I wish I could stay longer. It is all 5-star for me! The breakfast is adequate, and for me, the sushi is the best. I never thought I'd have sushi in the morning, but here we are lol. Overall great experience, I can't stop recommending it...
