林森Loft — Hotel in Taipei

The photos in their booking site can be very, very deceiving. Looks a bit small, you can see marks from white ants or termites (eating the wooden walls or foundation of the place). However, once you get over the look of this hotel, you will start to love this place which is very near Zhongshan Elementary School MRT Station (Yellow Line), a UBike station, a 7/11 and a Family Mart, Milk Tea Shops, a 24/7 Laundry Shop, and lots of Taiwanese traditional breakfast shops. The caretaker changes your towels too, cleans the floor and takes out the trash every single day. I have learned to love this place...

The room that I got wasn’t as advertised on booking. The toilet needed a lot of work, the water was either too hot or too cold. Host wasn’t able to properly communicate about arrangement of key pickup prior to my arrival resulting in lots of time wasted. The room clearly was dates and needed a lot of maintenance. There is a worm in the toilet and it was a horrid experience that we left a day early to stay at a nearby...

Very convenient place with bus stops nearby and a convenience store just below. Staff was very accommodating and hospitable though we had little trouble finding the entrance at first. Grateful there was somebody who helped us on what we should do when we arrived. Room was comfortable and there's even a kitchenette. Loved our stay and will definitely choose this place again when we go...
