Lealea Garden Hotel The Moon — Hotel in Yuchi Township

Visited sun moon lake and held a small bday party in the room. Spacious room for balloons! The room still has plenty spaces even with two of my 1.5m number balloons. Balcony is perfect for Instagram shots, better use flashlight or else the background is lighter than your face. When we visited in December, there weren't much rain so a part of the lake close to the hotel is just muddy and brown, so just adjust the camera angle and your picture will still look nice. Close to the harbour, convenience stores, and the souvenir street. It has a huge parking lot 3 min away from the hotel, rmb to bring an umbrella in case it pours mid way. Elevators large enough to fit in a family of five with suitcases. The staff was nice and check us in efficiently. Tea and snacks are provided, and rooms are clean. They locate my granny's room next to us - really appreciate this. Overall, 10 out of 10. I'll definitely stay here next time I visit Taiwan. Je viens de passer la nuit du 19/12/2017 dans cet hôtel et j'ai occupé la chambre 217.||||Ce petit établissement est un peu triste; situé dans le village de Ida Shah, au bord ducal du Soleil et de la Lune. L'établissement ne donne pas sur le lac mais à quelques centaines de mètres de l'embarcadère.||A part les chambres, l'hôtel ne propose rien, pas de bar, pas de restaurant. Juste un service de petit déjeuner.||||L'accueil est correct, sans plus. Le personnel ne semble pas vraiment parler anglais. ||||La chambre 217 donne sur la rue.C'est une belle chambre avec un grand lit (et deux couettes), un bureau, un repose valise, une table basse et deux fauteuils.Au check-in,il fait frais. la température restera fraiche (18/19°) toute languit car la climatisation ne fonctionne pas. ||La décoration est banale.||||Dans la chambre il y a un coffre fort, un minibar VIDE, et des bouteilles d'eau sont offertes. A part CNN et HBO, pas de télévisions étrangères (et donc encore moins francophone). Le wifi fonctionne moyennement avec quelques coupures.||||La salle d'eau est correcte avec lavabo, wc et douche.||||C'est propre et calme.||||Pour diner je suis allé dans l'hôtel Rich Forest situé juste à coté (même chaine hôtelière semble t-il). Pas de buffet, pas de choix, juste un menu en mandarin, et un personnel incapable de parler le moindre mot en anglais ! Ceci dit, je n'ai pas trop mal dîné pour 750 TWD.||||Une fois le diner passé, à 20h30, il n'y a plus qu'à aller se coucher, car le village est totalement désert sans aucune animation ou quoi que ce soit à faire ! Un comble pour l'endroit le plus touristique de l'île.||||Le petit déjeuner est frugal pour ne pas dire inexistant. Ce matin là, uniquement des plats végétaliens. Bref à part du pain et de la confiture, tous les clients sont au régime sec !||||Donc pas un bon souvenir : chambre fraiche, aucun service, diner cher (mais bon), petit déjeuner inexistant = passez...

This hotel has a sister hotel close by so make sure you know which one to go to. After making this mistake we hauled our luggage back to the car and drove down the road. The hotel is small enough to be cozy. Good location, one minute walk to the pier. We watched a beautiful sunset there and a lovely performance by an Aboriginal band. |The check in was quick and the room was comfortable and clean. |The hotel doesn't have a restaurant do they send you next door to another hotel. We didn't get along with the good there but...
