This place is unfortunately a shame especially when I have used it from 2022, and it was an amazing place. The previous managers use to really be attentive to the detail and take issues on board. But the new manager, likes to hide behind excuses, does not even bother to reach out himself! It's really a shame.||||It's INFESTED with cockroaches, each single day some would pop out from everywhere—behind the sofa while watching TV, crawling up the walls, skittering across the floor. It was like a horror movie come to life! Once I saw one coming out of the fridge too.||||While we were in the room, my wife kept her earrings which were solitaires, and the cleaner came and after that they disappeared. Things get STOLEN from the room. Even while you're inside, housekeeping walks in, and suddenly, your belongings disappear. And when you report it? The management hides behind their "hotel policy" telling you to use the in-room safe, instead of taking responsibility. No action, no accountability—just excuses and saying we will ask the staff, as if they will say yes I have taken them.||||They use their own hotel staff to flood Google with fake 5-star reviews! I even caught them doing it and posted proof! ||||Last night of my stay the GM's assistant sends a WhatsApp asking me have dinner which I refused, and the next day when I met the GM in the lift, who knows very well who I am, clearly did not even mention an apology!||||I have used this place since 2 years, but in the last stay in October 2024, where I saw such services and complained, the attitude was the same and when I went this time thinking may be with all the complains the issues may be sorted, it's worsen! It's sad to see such a pretty property in...
Read moreOne of the best budget friendly hotels in all of Dar Es Salaam! Would stay again. TThis property is arguably the best budget-friendly places to stay in Dar Es Salaam! When we arrived we were greeted with a lovely fresh hibiscus welcome drink in a lemongrass scented lobby. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was incredibly spacious and very comfortable. We had four people staying in our room and there were plenty of bathrooms, living space, good kitchen amenities, AC, and soundproofing so even on level five, we did not hear noise from the streets with windows closed. The breakfast had a very good selection - this included Indian foods such as 'chole bhature' as well as eggs made to order, cereals, breads and masala tea which was very enjoyable. You can also enjoy the sites of Dar Es Salaam while you are having breakfast because it is situated on the top floor where you can access rooftop facilities too! There were only a couple of minor issues I did not like which would have been easily fixable if raised but we were only there two nights so did not bother. Firstly, the showers in our rooms drained slowly. The shower itself was powerful and of high quality but the drain was the only issue there. The curtains in my room did not fully close (they were too small) meaning I had to wear an eye mask or I would be awoken with the sun. The soap dispenser in one of the bathrooms was broken and we had to open the whole container and use it. Other than this, there was little else wrong with the property and most importantly, NONE of these issues would stop me from staying at the...

The reception area is very clean and spacious and the staff very welcoming and friendly.||There are two restaurants, one for breakfast and one for lunch and dinner with a good variety of food catering for all cultures. The buffet breakfast, which is included, was magnificent and the presentation outstanding. There is also a health spa.||We were allocated a two-bedroomed apartment, both with ensuite bathrooms plus an additional toilet near the entrance. The combined lounge and dining area was very large and had a good view of the city. There was a completely separate and well furnished kitchen next to the lounge. All furniture and furnishings are modern and neat and the air conditioning system effective.||The outstanding feature of our stay was the level of service provided by all the staff. The staff always had smiles on their faces from reception to catering and housekeeping. Everyone was pleasant and helpful and quite willing to do anything to make our stay more pleasant. Always greeting us and offering to help make our stay more comfortable.||The general manager and manager were always available and constantly checked to see if there was anything we needed. We recommend this hotel very strongly and are sure you will not be...
