Very Weird experience at Tiffany Diamond Hotel
I stayed at Tiffany Diamond Hotel for one night and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. Shortly after I went for breakfast, the housekeeping staff entered my room around 9 AM, knocking and entering without warning. I find it perplexing that they would wake guests at such an early hour, especially considering I arrived only at midnight the night before. The room did not have a Do Not Disturb sign for me to use, but I still expected a basic level of privacy and respect.
To make matters worse, the housekeeper took towels—including some I had used the night prior—along with the bath mat and a face towel, even though I was checking out in just an hour. This felt unnecessarily intrusive - leaving me feeling quite violated.
When I shared my concerns with the receptionist, I was only then visited by the housekeeping supervisor Amina and the housekeeper Rehema to “apologize” and get an explanation of their process. 😏 The response was not very reassuring or professional, and it certainly did not reflect a high standard of customer care they claim on their slogan.
Overall, my experience was nothing spectacular but this pushed it further from satisfactory. I expected more privacy, professionalism, and respect during my stay. Unfortunately, this visit has left me unlikely to return or recommend the hotel.

If you can’t provide early check-in, don’t make false promises. Their policy says check-in is at 2 PM, but we still had to wait hours past that!| 2. Room Issues:| • We were made to change rooms twice after finally getting a proper room.| • The air conditioning didn’t work all night, leaving us sweating with no ventilation or fans. It was miserable!| • There was no hot water in the shower, so my kids had to shower with cold water.| 3. Communication Failures: The room telephone didn’t work, so I couldn’t even contact reception. I had to call the restaurant and ask them to get reception to call us back—completely unacceptable.| 4. Manager’s Indifference: When I brought up these issues with the manager, all they could offer was a late check-out at 2 PM. I didn’t even need it because I had a flight at 12 PM. How convenient for them!||For all this, I paid $180 per night, which is outrageous for such subpar service. I checked out as early as 9:30 AM just to get out of there.||Final Thoughts: Think twice before booking this hotel.
