Karibu House Paje — Hotel in Unguja

What I liked most about Karibu House was the family vibe. As a female solo traveler, it's always nice to meet new people whom you can trust and feel safe with. This was definitely the case at Karibu House! Both Vanessa and Cristina are amazing hosts. Actually, the best ones I ever met. When they went out for drinks or activities they always invited the guests and included everyone. They also organized a BBQ, dancing class etc etc. Thank you ladies for being so amazing. My Zanzibar experience would not at all have been the same without you and our family! If I ever go back to Zanzibar, I'll make sure I'll see these ladies again and bring some nice white wine for Vanessa 😉 Besides the vibe, it's nice little spot in between the main road and beach so excellent location. One of the best accommodations, I’ve ever been to! I just booked 4 nights with my girlfriend, but we ended up staying almost 3 weeks, because we loved it so much! Vanessa is an inspiring person and the best host you can imagine. We felt more than welcome from the first second there, she arranged some trips for us and invited us to join the Friday night live music with her and some friends. Karibu house is a perfect mix of hostel & guest house with some private space but also possibilities to connect with other people. It’s centrally located in Paje close to the main road with various food options but also close to the beach (5 min by walking). I can highly recommend this...

Very clean, easy to access the beach and main road. I took daladala very easily from their house. Duka is also very closed to the house. Security Maasai is very friendly and took care of me so much. And also I’m very appreciating the owner a lot. They cared me so much and when I asked some questions or requests, they did it immediately....
