Just come across the previous person Hakim that gave a poor review. I am writing from South Africa and cannot wait to go back to Hanoi House in December. I have been to all the Owner’s restaurants. The food has always been fresh, authentic and delicious! I too am not a cat person like yourself Hakim. In fact I am allergic. To question though the hygiene standards of the establishment without having any background and just giving 1 star for someone that has worked so hard to build a wonderful chain of restaurants is unkind. Perhaps you can consider the blood, sweat and tears that owners go into establishing themselves never mind the cost she incurred personally to have the cats vaccinated etc and to save these few strays before you are so I insulting with your 1 star. It is not like you encountered a lion 😩. I look forward to being back in December to enjoy amazing food in this lovely unpretentious...

Very very nice food and drinks. We especially loved the coconut coffee and to us it tasted the same if not better than what we knew from some places in Vietnam. We‘ve also had on different occasions the baked chicken bao bun, the bánh xèo, the matcha pancakes and the chia pudding. All the food and drinks were 5/5 stars.

The atmosphere was amazing and it was so nice to talk to the owner and get some more insights into the story of the restaurant. We always felt welcome and because of that we sometimes went out of our way to come back one more time.

To be fair, this is not a fastfood restaurant and so the food does take a while to be prepared. One should not expect to receive the order immediately. But for us this was a good sign of freshness careful...
