SunSeaBar Hotel is located right on the ocean and this is its biggest advantage among other hotels located on Kendwa Beach. By the way, for those who will be in Zanzibar for the first time, Kendwa Beach is the best option for recreation, because it is there that the ebb and flow are least pronounced. As for other hotels, most of the hotels on Kendwa have a second line and you have to get to the beach on your own. The view from most of the rooms at the SunSeaBar Hotel overlooks the ocean and is incredibly beautiful and worth it. The hotel has a free breakfast included, a basic set: you can order glazed, boiled eggs, scramble, or omelet. Also, every morning there are fresh fruits for breakfast: mango, pineapple, and watermelon; also pancakes; sausages, etc. There is also a delicious restaurant right on the beach where you can have lunch and dinner right on the ocean, as well as order cocktails, beer, or fresh juices. We had lunch and dinner right at our hotel, I can confidently recommend every day fresh fish and seafood. Almost every evening at dinner there were colorful music and dance shows with the participation of local citizens. The hotel staff is very friendly and will always help if you have any questions. The staff is especially friendly to Ukrainian guests. The hotel rooms have everything you need: a bed, a balcony, a safe, a refrigerator, air conditioning, a bathroom, and a small desk if you need to work. Wi-Fi is also available in the hotel, but if you want to use the Internet on the beach, it is better to buy a SIM card in local shops near the hotel. Near the hotel, there are many shops with fruits, souvenirs, clothes, grocery stores, and exchange offices. You can change money right next to the hotel because there is the best rate (don't do it at the airport, there is a more expensive rate). Also, don't buy a SIM card at the airport, the best price is near your hotel. We’ve rested with our family for 2 weeks and liked it a lot. The ocean is just incredible and we will be back for sure. I recently had a regrettable stay at Sunseabar in Kendwa and feel compelled to share my negative experience with others. The lack of customer service and disregard for guest satisfaction at this establishment is truly appalling.
Upon encountering issues with my room, including a malfunctioning air conditioning unit, I requested a refund, which the hotel management failed to honor. The receptionist I dealt with was not only unhelpful but also exhibited a rude and dismissive attitude, showing a complete lack of professionalism and empathy towards my concerns.
What was even more alarming was the apparent indifference of the staff towards the well-being and comfort of the guests. It was evident that customer satisfaction was not a priority for them, as they seemed disinterested in addressing my grievances or providing any meaningful assistance.
In my attempts to escalate the matter and seek resolution, I tried to contact the owner of the hotel. However, I was met with a baffling response from the staff, who claimed they were prohibited from disclosing the owner's contact information. This lack of transparency and accountability only reinforced the sense of helplessness and frustration I experienced during my stay.
Overall, my experience at Sunseabar in Kendwa was nothing short of disappointing and frustrating. The blatant disregard for customer service, coupled with the unprofessional behavior of the receptionist and staff, left me deeply dissatisfied and disillusioned with this establishment.
I strongly advise potential guests to reconsider staying at Sunseabar in Kendwa, as the subpar service and lack of concern for guest satisfaction make it an establishment to be avoided at all costs. Your vacation experience deserves better than what this hotel has to offer.

To be 3 or 4 star hotel you have to have some things, and they do, but they are almost all broken. Hotel needs seriuos renovation. Travel agency Jungle tribe cheated us with this hotel! They ensured us that is renovated. We changed couple of rooms, some tourists changed 4 rooms... But the problem was that whole hotel is in very bad shape. In every room frigd was not working, in lot of room AC also was not working. Breakfast is every day almost the same, it is not bufet. After all our trouble manager Ciara never asked is the room ok now or anything. It is hotel from hell. Local people that working in hotel are very polite, but manager has NO people skilles, never the less problem solving skills. Thees are room photos from July. Just when we were leaving they painted the walls. Which is funny, because the rooms are falling apart. And this is just a small part of our experience in this hotel. I also saw that there is lot of fake grades. People are giving 5 stars with nothing to say. But those 5 stars grade does put up a middle grade. And we had water around toilet in room on the floore, then we did not have hot water, also in some other rooms hot water was problem, in some it didn't.
