The place is beautifully located on the famed beaches of Zanzibar. The rooms are clean and the area is well maintained. The place advertises having both breakfast and wifi. I didn't receive a single breakfast with out an ant cooked into it. The wifi never consistently worked. The service was bad and the staff unhelpful. The owner was often rude, but the place he owns is beautiful and if he invested his time in making it better this place could compete with it's neighbors. Booked a long time ago after a personal visit and speaking with manager. Now (4 days before going there) they told us our beachview room is not available and we can have a way less nice room for a higher price. Waren 3 Nächte dort. Wasserdruck beim Duschen war kaum vorhanden und ich musste mehrmals das Personal darauf hinweisen. Duschkopf war verkalkt/ verdreckt, wodurch nichts an wasser durchkommen konnte und warmes Wasser kam auch nicht wirklich. Der Duschkopf wurde gestern gereinigt, wodurch nun auch der Wasserdruck wieder stimmt. Unser Bettlaken war voll mit Flecken als wir das Zimmer bezogen, Moskitonetz war löschrig, wlan im Bungalow ging so gut wie garnicht, Es lagen keine Handtücher im Zimmer, Dreck rieselt vom Dach aufs Waschbecken... Klar kann man bei 2 Sternen nicht Luxus erwarten, aber sauber und funktionell sollte es dennoch sein, für 43€/ Nacht. Es wird gerade viel dort in der Anlage gebaut, wodurch von 10-18 Uhr mit Baulärm gerechnet werden muss.
