Here are the issues we faced:
1.Bad layout and unprofessional service
The layout of the hotel is highly confusing. When we parked our car, we asked the staff where we could go check in, and they were extremely unfriendly. The team did not say a word and just pointed toward the check-in counter. Worst of all, there were no signs designating important areas for guests. IT TOOK US 15 MINUTES TO FIND THE CHECK-IN COUNTER! Where is the SERVICE MIND???
It took us forever to check-in:
We booked 2 rooms (1 bedroom cabana and 1 deluxe room). The hotel check-in time was at 3pm. We arrived precisely at 3pm, and the front desk told us that only one room was ready and the other room was not ready yet. We waited for another hour to check into the other room. When we went back to the front desk, they seemed clueless and still made us wait. The hotel should not make any guests wait for their room. The only exception for guests having to wait for their room is when there is a valid excuse. When we asked when the room would be ready, the front desk and check-in counter said, “please wait a moment.”. This is unacceptable as the staff lack care and concern about their guests.
Rooms
As soon as we entered our 1 bedroom cabana, we did not dare to take our shoes off because the floors were sticky and disgusting. There were footprints and sticky-like syrup residue all over the floor. We then called the housekeeper to clean the floor again, and she did an abysmal job. She mopped the floor for 1 MINUTE using a window wiper and said that the room was clean. When she left, the floor was the exact same way we found the room; sticky and disgusting.
Secondly, the bed and pillow sheets were extremely filthy, smelling like it had not been washed from the previous guest. This is absolutely unacceptable!
Thirdly, we noticed food residue inside a glass water cup which indicated that the housekeeper did not clean the cups properly.
Fourthly, the 1 bedroom cabana does not look like a cabana, and the room looks smaller than the size indicated on the website. Additionally, the decoration of the room is mediocre and lacks usable furniture. In addition, the paint on some areas of the walls was poorly done and scraped off.
Closing thoughts:
We booked a 1 bedroom cabana for 8000THB/night and a deluxe room for 4900THB/night. This is highly OVERPRICED for what the hotel has to offer. With everything being said, the room should not cost more than 3000THB/night.
Overall, the reviews are absurd. They just have nice decorations and instagrammable spots to trick the guests. Everything was extremely disappointing, from the room to the staff. They strongly have to change their housekeeping, management team, and all their staff!!! For a hotel this expensive, you would expect more in terms of what was advertised and, most notably, better service.

Read moreI recently had the pleasure of staying at Ana Anan, a charming hotel located near Na Jomtien Beach. Situated just a short distance from Central Pattaya and a few hours away from Bangkok, the hotel offers a convenient and peaceful escape from the bustling city life.
The location of Ana Anan is ideal, with a convenience store a mere 550 meters away. It's a quick 7-minute walk or you can take advantage of the hotel's complimentary shuttle service. However, I would advise against walking alone during the nighttime for safety reasons.
Upon entering my room, I was immediately impressed by its spaciousness, cleanliness, and comfort. The highlight was undoubtedly the bathroom, which featured a luxurious and oversized tub. It was the perfect spot to unwind and relax after a long day of exploring the area. The room's ambiance was ideal for both couples and families, offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere.
One of the highlights of my stay was the delightful dining experience at Ana Anan. The food was simply delicious, and the breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of choices to cater to every palate. I truly enjoyed starting my day with a satisfying meal and the opportunity to try different dishes.
The hotel's swimming pool is a standout feature, complete with an exhilarating slide that guarantees fun for everyone. It was a joy to spend time by the pool, cooling off and enjoying the refreshing water. The pool area was well-maintained and provided a great place to relax and soak up the sun.
The staff at Ana Anan were extremely friendly and accommodating. They were always ready to assist and provide any necessary support, ensuring a pleasant and memorable stay for guests. Their professionalism and warmth added an extra touch of hospitality, making me feel truly welcome.
In terms of amenities, Ana Anan offers ample parking spaces, which was convenient for guests with vehicles. Additionally, the hotel also caters to eco-conscious individuals by providing EV charging stations, demonstrating their commitment to sustainability.
Overall, my experience at Ana Anan was exceptional. The hotel's prime location near Na Jomtien Beach, coupled with its comfortable rooms, delectable dining options, and fantastic swimming pool, make it a hidden gem worth discovering. The friendly staff and convenient amenities further contribute to an unforgettable stay. I highly recommend Ana Anan to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable vacation...
Read moreNot really up to expectations. We wanted to break away from the busy city for a few days and also have some peace and quiet away from the construction site next door. We found this resort and thought it would provide what we were looking for. Check in was very summarily. Details about the special breakfast or password for Wi-Fi were not provided. We had booked an Oceanfront pool villa. A spacious room with a balcony offering a view over the ocean and a 5 x 2,5 m pool, about 70 cm deep. Not suitable for real swimming but quite OK for cooling down and playing a bit. The basin and bath tub are in the room, shower and toilet (with a glass door!) separately. So we thought we had found the right spot – until at 5 p.m. they started the music at the beach bar just in front of us. Bye bye quiet. We had in-room dining but with the unasked for music from below we did not enjoy it as much as we could have. In the afternoon we had some drinks and snacks in the lounge which was included in our package. Here too some weird esoteric music, far too loud to provide for a relaxing stay. In the morning a tray is delivered with a breakfast that can be floated in the pool. In itself a nice idea but not thought through very well. No one asked what we would like, so three times a tray was brought with what seemed like breakfast for just one person, one set of crockery. And three times most of it was sent back for not being wanted, no one bothered to think why or re-adjust the contents. You can also have breakfast at the restaurant. Set menu brought at the table, every menu the portion a construction worker would need, but we didn’t. So again a lot of waste. The rooftop bar was visited but just as quickly left as I find techno music at a loud level not something to enjoy even the nicest sunset by. So although this is a high end resort the way it is managed does not provide for the luxury that could be enjoyed. So in its class I cannot rate more than “average”, as the next level, “very good” is not what we experienced. There were...
