July 2023| |To Whom It May Concern,|Regarding our booking of 2 rooms Oceanview SkyBath King from July 23 to 26, 2023. We arrived at the hotel around 3pm and checked in. We then discovered that the rooms were not up to standard. One of the rooms had an 8-foot bed and the other had a 5-foot bed. Actually, these rooms were the same type and the same price. Also, the air conditioners were not good enough, they were supposed to be cold but they were not. So we asked for a room change, the service officer took really good care of us and fixed our new rooms with room number 3601-3602. We were very happy about that, but to be honest, the air conditioners were not as cold as they should be, so we asked for fans. The service person took very good care of us, serving us as best she could. We appreciated that and thanked her.|​By the way, we went to the “Over the Moon Rooftop” on the 8th floor and took off our shoes. We hung out there until 10:50 pm (before it closes at 11:00 pm). During that time, we noticed that my cousin’s sneakers were no longer there. So we immediately informed your staff, but they told us “we are not sure if you will get your stuff back or not”. The thing you can prove is the CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television), so we checked the CCTV (Closed-Circuit Television) and found that someone had taken his shoes. We were not sure if that was an accident or if he did it on purpose. We really understood that your service manager had no idea about this stupid situation. But we just want them to take some reasonable responsibility. We have told them that we will not accept the gift card. We want whoever got his sneakers to return them to my cousin. Please keep us posted by the July 25th.|​On the morning of July 25th at 11am, we had contacted your service providers and asked them to keep us updated by 3pm after we had lunch outside. Then Ms. Lamai tried to compromise us and offered us a voucher for our next vacation at your hotel. To be honest, if something like this happens to you or your family, you may not want to come back or do anything related to this hotel or these people, so we declined this offer. After that your officer told us that the police would come, we waited for about 10 minutes and no one came. Your officer again told us that the police officer was busy and could not come, and asked us to wait for the police officer in her office. Then Miss Satakanya Thanitsa showed up and her behavior was very inappropriate. She mentioned that my sister was going to attack her, which was not true. So we reported to the police, but we had an argument. By the way, the police officer said that the hotel must take responsibility and pay for the damage. But the hotel employee confirmed to offer us the voucher.|​To sum up, we have already informed the police officer of Na Jom Tien police station about this situation. We request the hotel to take responsibility and reimburse us in cash for the damage. Came here with the wifey for a weekend getaway from the hustle and bustle of Bangkok.

I'll start with the pros and then cons.

Pros - Beautiful on the outside. Modern design. Gorgeous views. Evening live music with bean bag chairs was very nice.

Cons - our room smelled like wet towels the entire time. We left the windows open for hours hoping to air out the stench, but it remained. Ended up having to change rooms in the middle of the night during a storm because we couldn't sleep. Moreover, the shampoo, conditioner, and soap containers were 50% empty. I would suggest filling it up Everytime when making up the room so guests can at least feel like it's new. When ordering room service for 2, we only received 1 napkin. This has happened twice. Room service was also slow by about 45 minutes. We were starving by the time food came. The front desk later told us that they were understaffed. Thai food was okay. Western food was not good. The beach also had trash littered. We saw several plastic bottles in the sand in the hotel area. Staff was present, but they didn't do anything about it. Some parts also weren't open, even though it's clearly advertised (like the rooftop pool lounge). Lastly, when we checked in, there was a huge tour bus with lots of people at the lobby. By far this was the most hectic experience that we had checking in at a 5 star resort.

We came here to relax, but ended up being more stressed.

Nevertheless, the staff was very friendly and tried their best to accommodate us. I can give them an A for effort and for the decor.

Ultimately, I do not think that this hotel should be rated 5 stars because there's a lack of attention to detail. Other establishments have their process down. My review is also due to the fact that this is supposed to be a first class resort, so I have higher standards. I understand that this hotel is not fully opened yet, so I will give management the benefit of doubt. The foundation is getting set, so there is room for improvement. A bit pricey but good. 🏊‍♀️ Enjoy the swimming pools—We recently had the pleasure of staying at the Ana Anan Resort & Villas Pattaya for one night on March 1st, and it was an experience that I will not soon forget. From the moment we arrived at the resort, we were greeted by friendly staffs. We stayed in an Ocean View Skybath King Room, and it was nice, spacious, and well prepared. The room had a great view of the sea, and the lounge area just in front of the beach was the perfect spot to catch a stunning sunset. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I slept like a baby 🥰. Also loved the jacuzzi in the room, which was a fantastic way to unwind after a long day of exploring the city.One of the standout features of the resort was the excellent view of the sea from the room and the lounge area. The view was simply stunning, and I could not get enough of it. A few areas of improvement that I noticed during my stay. The breakfast was “okay” and the taste was “average”. This was a minor issue, and it did not detract from my overall experience at the resort.In conclusion, I highly recommend the Ana Anan Resort & Villas Pattaya to anyone looking for a luxurious and relaxing getaway.
