Panya — Restaurant in Chon Buri Province

"Panya Seafood in Na Jomtien: A Must-Return Spot" It's a holiday today, and I arrived in the late afternoon after several years away. This time, I noticed an air-conditioned room to the right – I'm not sure if it was there before and I missed it, or if it's new. I opted for the AC room as it was comfortably cool and bug-free. The black ink squid dish uses traditional squid, like banana squid, not the large, oceanic variety. It was incredibly fresh with no off-smell, and I had no stomach issues afterward. The black sauce was deliciously seasoned, a perfect balance of savory and sweet. The squid and tentacles were perfectly tender yet firm – I loved it. The Hoi Jor (crab meat rolls) were decent but still can't beat Jarin's. The red curry with beef had a rich, creamy coconut base, but the beef itself was quite tough. My recommendation for this restaurant: stick to the seafood dishes; they are the best.

Good seafood restaurant. Not a big one but the food is great. all ingredients are fresh. Almost dish are very well except kang pah fish too salty and spicy. The delicious dish that i would like to recommend is crab meat stir fried with curry powder , crab meat rice, tiger prawn...

This is my first time here and this restaurant can easily impressed me with quality , taste and freshness of the food.

Tonight six of us ordered 7 dishes, tomkha seafood, deep fried crab meat role, fried crab meet with curry, fried Indo-Pacific king mackerel with basil , salted shrimp, pen shell adductor muscle, fried vegetable with salted fish.

All are very delicious, vegetable with salted fish is a bit too salty but that because many big pieces of salted fish is added to the dish, something you will not find in many restaurants.

My only small complaint for tonight is the rice, it a bit too damp.

The price is really worth spending as each dish is really big. Restaurant has its own parking space, not many but you can park along side the road.

You can choose to sit in open air zone or in air conditioned room with 10 Thb extra per head, which is more comfortable but more noisy if there are many clients, which I believe they do.

I will definitely come...

About the food: all food are tasty and crispy. they ask you if you would like spicy or not which I did like it. Food portions are reasonably good. Cleaness: It is above average compared to other street restaurants in pattaya, food design is not perfect but you get what you pay for Cost: Food start from 120 to 350 baht. A good food is from 200 baht and a big fish is 350. I love crispy prawn and fried fish.

The only downside was that I asked manager if I can stay 5 minutes for my taxi and she said no. really disappointed as I give really good tip as well. staff english level is suboptimal but it is the same all over...
