An Outstanding Stay at Avani Ratchada Bangkok Hotel: Exceptional Service by the Lounge and Front Desk Team

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Avani Ratchada Bangkok Hotel, and I can say without a doubt that it was one of the most impressive hotel experiences I've had. From the moment I arrived, the exceptional service provided by the Avani Lounge team and the front desk staff—especially BB, Aki, MoMay, Get, and Thunwa—left a lasting impression. This hotel truly goes above and beyond to ensure that every guest feels welcomed, valued, and well-cared for.

We had initially booked an Executive Suite, but upon our arrival, we were pleasantly surprised when the front desk team upgraded us to a One-Bedroom Suite without hesitation. There was no questioning or delay; the upgrade was offered immediately, which already set the tone for an extraordinary stay. This kind of generosity and customer care truly exemplifies the outstanding level of service that the Avani Ratchada provides.

The One-Bedroom Suite we were upgraded to was nothing short of spectacular. Spacious, modern, and thoughtfully designed, it felt like a home away from home. The room was impeccably clean, featuring a comfortable king-sized bed, a beautiful living area, and all the amenities one could need for a relaxing stay. It was clear that every detail had been meticulously planned to ensure maximum comfort and luxury.

What stood out the most, however, was the treatment we received from the team. BB, Aki, MoMay, Get, and Thunwa were the faces of excellent customer service throughout our stay. Each one of them made us feel like VIPs, offering personalized attention and going above and beyond in every interaction. They were always ready to provide information, offer recommendations, and ensure that our every need was met without us even having to ask.

BB, who greeted us at the front desk, was incredibly welcoming and professional. He took the time to explain the hotel's facilities, ensuring we were comfortable and well-informed about everything the hotel had to offer. His genuine enthusiasm and attentiveness immediately made us feel at ease.

Aki was equally impressive with her warm and friendly demeanor. She always had a smile on her face and made sure we had everything we needed. Whether it was offering us a drink at the lounge or assisting with any requests, Aki’s attention to detail and dedication to guest satisfaction were truly remarkable.

MoMay was another standout team member who made a lasting impression. Her kindness and professionalism were evident in every interaction. She helped with restaurant recommendations, arranged transportation, and ensured that all our requests were fulfilled with efficiency and a smile.

Get and Thunwa were also outstanding in their roles. Get’s impeccable service at the lounge was paired with a genuine desire to make us feel at home, while Thunwa’s efficiency and readiness to assist with anything further elevated our stay. They both went out of their way to ensure that our time at the Avani Ratchada was seamless and enjoyable.

Overall, the service at the Avani Ratchada Bangkok Hotel was extraordinary. Every member of the staff was attentive, accommodating, and friendly, making us feel special from the moment we arrived. The seamless upgrade, combined with the impeccable service we received from BB, Aki, MoMay, Get, and Thunwa, made our stay truly unforgettable.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough. If you’re looking for a place that provides exceptional service, top-notch facilities, and a truly unforgettable experience in Bangkok, the Avani Ratchada is the perfect choice. The staff here—particularly the Avani Lounge and front desk team—are some of the best I’ve encountered, and they truly deserve the highest praise. Thank you, Avani Ratchada, for making our stay...

Grand Fortune Hotel Bangkok: A Blend of Comfort and Convenience

Located in the bustling heart of Bangkok, the Grand Fortune Hotel offers a seamless blend of modern luxury and traditional Thai hospitality. My recent stay at this esteemed hotel was marked by a series of pleasant experiences that make it a noteworthy choice for both business and leisure travelers.

Location: The hotel's prime location in the Ratchadaphisek district makes it exceptionally convenient for exploring Bangkok. It's directly connected to the Phra Ram 9 MRT station, providing easy access to major shopping centers, business districts, and cultural landmarks. Central Plaza Grand Rama 9 and Fortune Town IT Mall are just a short walk away, making shopping and dining effortlessly accessible.

Accommodation: The rooms at the Grand Fortune Hotel are spacious, well-appointed, and exude a sense of elegance. My deluxe room featured a comfortable king-sized bed, a modern en-suite bathroom with premium toiletries, and a panoramic view of the city skyline. The room was impeccably clean, with contemporary furnishings and thoughtful amenities like a flat-screen TV, high-speed internet, and a minibar.

Dining: The hotel's dining options are impressive. The main restaurant offers a diverse buffet breakfast with both international and Thai cuisine, ensuring a satisfying start to the day. For dinner, I dined at the Nan Yuan Chinese Restaurant, where the Peking duck was a highlight. The Lobby Lounge is perfect for a casual drink or a light snack, providing a relaxing atmosphere with live music in the evenings.

Amenities: The Grand Fortune Hotel boasts a range of amenities designed to enhance your stay. The outdoor swimming pool is a serene oasis amidst the city's hustle and bustle, and the well-equipped fitness center caters to those looking to maintain their workout routine. Additionally, the hotel offers excellent meeting and conference facilities, making it an ideal choice for business travelers.

Service: The staff at the Grand Fortune Hotel are truly exceptional. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, their commitment to guest satisfaction was evident. The concierge team was particularly helpful in providing recommendations and arranging transportation.

Overall Experience: My stay at the Grand Fortune Hotel Bangkok was marked by comfort, convenience, and exemplary service. Whether you're in Bangkok for business or pleasure, this hotel offers a perfect blend of luxury and practicality. Its strategic location, coupled with its high standards of accommodation and service, make it a top choice for any traveler visiting this...

Was skeptical before choosing this hotel, normally I stay in Sathon/Silom very safe area of Bangkok city. Upon the arrival, the doormen greeted me, Mr. Khun at the front desk was friendly and upgraded me to a better room on executive level to avoid no harm but very loud and noisy Chinese tourists groups. Although I didn't have access to the executive lounge but Miss B.B. still welcomedand showered me around the lounge, free breakfast/lunch/dinner plus all you can drink alcohol. I told her that my mom passed away because of chemotherapy by Taiwanese moneymaking doctors and hospital. I bought a last minute ticket flying over 30 hrs from Europe back to Taiwan to see mom, sadly I couldn't be home in time. Miss B.B. cried with me and hugged me. I am so touched and appreciated her caring for me still. Miss Laksika and Miss Black Fitness are also very nice to me and all the staff at the hotel are very polite and attentive. Yes, it's an old hotel in Bangkok, rooms not so clean in details compared to Como metropolitain hotel but there's is no bedbugs, bed is so nice, so soft and bouncy I had good sleep. To be honest and it's way better than most five star hotels in Europe, but less expensive!!! 50 British pounds for one night is the price range I can accept to stay at Grand fortune hotel if I travel alone. PLUS the very nice swim pool and gym, naked male onsen, staffs are gay friendly , thousands of malls, shops, right next to the hotel. I strongly recommend yous to book the room with executive lounge access on 25/26 floors via Agoda to avoid noisy tourist groups. I will definitely come back again because of those sweet and friendly Thai staffs, thank you all for making me happier while I'm heartbroken and on the low. Last time to say is I had a Thai oil massage in the hotel, male masseur was good but 4 Chinese young woman was talking so loud on their phone and to each other the whole time. Not the...

2nd stay this time in late Sept 2025 in the Executive room for 2 nights (1st stay in July 2025 for 5 nights in a Skyline Deluxe room). Location wise but ... ... upon arrival for check-in this time, the lady was extremely impatient with no smile on her face.  She kept complaining and muttering to us about how busy she was at work every day.   My husband and I felt embarrassed as it seemed that our stay had increased her workload and she did not welcome any returned guests.  We did not know how to respond but only kept smiling. She upgraded us from a Deluxe Skyline to the Executive room but she did not mention a word about the amenities of the room and the hotel (maybe she was very tired).  She simply advised us to collect the key cards at 1400.  We only learned from the advertisement in the elevator that the hotel guests could enjoy happy hours discount on spa treatment. The Executive room had a bedside panel and USB charging port which were definitely a plus.  The design of the room was in dark color tone and lighting was not enough, it looked a bit dim for me.  The bathroom was small compared to the Skyline Deluxe we stayed before.  The rubbish bin was placed under the toilet paper.  The cover of the bin kicked the toilet paper whenever I stepped the pedal and it had nowhere to move. We tried hot stone aromatherapy for 90 minutes (happy hours) at the rate of 1718 THB for each person which was highly recommended by the staff.  But the quality was so-so and I did not think it worth the price.  Despite our requests, the masseuse still pressed too hard and it was not relaxing at all. Sauna room for male was lukewarm only. Check-out experience was good.  The lady with a smiling face was polite and the process was speedy. My next trip to Bangkok will probably be in Dec 2025 and is puzzled whether to stay in this hotel for the 3rd time in this year ???

Our recent stay in the one-bedroom suite at Avani Ratchada Bangkok was an absolute delight. The suite itself is a class in modern design, creating a luxurious urban sanctuary feel. The spacious layout, with its distinct living and sleeping areas, offered an unparalleled sense of comfort and relaxation. The chic, contemporary ambiance made us feel instantly relaxed home, providing a perfect haven after a day of exploring Bangkok. The club lounge was at our level was a great relaxing point after a day of walking The hotel's convenient location provides easy access to the city's attractions, and the overall service was both efficient and friendly. However, to truly elevate the Suite experience to a luxury level, a couple of minor improvements could be considered. While the two TVs provided were perfectly functional, upgrading to larger screens would enhance the viewing experience. Additionally, the bathroom essentials, while adequate, could benefit from a touch more luxury to align with the suite's elevated concept. Despite these small points, the Avani Ratchada Bangkok offers a compelling and stylish stay. It's a strong choice for travelers seeking a comfortable stay in Bangkok

This hotel was formerly known as Fortune Hotel. It has had a major renovation and had made a strong comeback and rebranded as Avani Ratchada, The current layout very cosy and updated. The hotel keycard is made of wood and it's very unique. The hotel is located nearby the Fortune mall (lots of small food outlets) and is directly across the road from Central Rama 9 mall, which is huge and has almost everything inside. The hotel is just beside Phra Ram 9 subway station so it's easy to get around town via trains, even to the airport train link in Makassan station. Staffs were warm and friendly. Most of them speaks English and it's easy to converse with them. Rooms were reasonably and pleasantly modern. Lights and other amenities are controlled via a screen beside the bed. The wall plugs are made universal so it's easy to charge your electronic devices even if you don't have the specific Thailand plug head. The breakfast spread is not outstanding but there is a good amount of variation in the dishes presented, The staffs were again attentive and friendly so it was a pleasant experience. Recommended place to stay while you ate in Bangkok!
