Banpuku Yokocho Rama 9 — Restaurant in Huai Khwang Subdistrict

First time here: the food itself is good, maybe a bit on the expensive side.

The music is a tad too loud beyond what I'd say comfortable. I probably would recommend to recurring customers and staff using earplugs to avoid developing hearing loss.

However, we received the wrong order. We expected chicken karaage, but instead received wings. Even if it was our mistake (although we think we said the name of the menu so correctly and clearly), this is made much worse:

1. The staff didn't repeat the order, so the mistake wasn't caught.

2. We didn't get a replacement or even a refund (c'mon, chicken ain't that expensive).

3. We didn't actually get any apology until we asked to remove the service charge while getting the bill. Even if you don't believe in the "customer is always right" mantra (which is fine), saying sorry when something goes wrong is just customer service 101.

4. The PoS system doesn't seem to support removing the service charge, so the staff had to instead give us a 10% discount. Unless you're very confident in your restaurant's service level, your PoS system should always support removing service charge in case a satisfactory service is not met.

This is not a fault of any single individual, this seems to be a lack of customer service training from the management. Even if the food is good, for a restaurant at this price point, I expect much better...

I recently dined at this restaurant and found the food to be good; however, the prices were rather high for the small portions served. Another drawback was the loud atmosphere, with both the majority of patrons and the music contributing to the noise levels.

I was seated near the open kitchen next to a small tree. My dining experience took a drastic turn for the worse when I witnessed (throughout my meal) some of the cooks in the kitchen displaying highly inappropriate behavior. They seemed to openly lust after every female who passed by the area, and once one of them sent a disgusting air kiss to a woman who walked past. Even though I was not expecting gentlemanly behavior, that was just disgusting...

Considering these factors, I regret to say that personally I will not be returning to this restaurant, as the overall experience left me disappointed...
