Rojjana Residence — Hotel in Kamala

My four friends and I stayed at this small family run hotel in September 2017. The hotel has a small lounge area once you enter. Our 2 rooms were located on the first floor. One had a fantastic view of the mountains and the other was facing the main road running into Kamala. The rooms were extremely clean and were promptly cleaned each morning.||||The hotel is literally a 10 minute walk to the local beach which was clean and tidy with not so many people. We did visit you outside of season hence the empty beach. ||||We had breakfast included and were asked the night before of any preference and the time we would like to dine. This gave it the tailored touch. The rooms have coffee and tea making facilities which we utilised. ||||Kamala is a lovely quiet resort in comparison to Patong. You know that feeling when you roll into your Aunt and Uncles house and they make you feel so loved and taken care of? Well that is the feeling at the Rojjana. It is small, the service is personalized and amazing. There was nothing we didn't request, that wasn't met with a smile. All the tours recommended and booked were great. We loved the assistance and guidance and of course the wonderful breakfast and coffee each day. The family experience extended to interaction with other guests, which we fully enjoyed. ||||The hotel is not on the beach - which is nice as it is quiet and just a short 5 minute walk. Towels and mats provided by the hotel. A beautiful pool in the back is also available. Rooms over looking the pool are nice and each room is relatively large with a fridge. ||||If you are looking for a large chain hotel packed with tour groups and wedding parties, this is not your place. I stayed at this small Hotel three years ago when it first opened and|it is still own & operate by the same family.||The hotel is small in the number of rooms but very big in the quality of friendly service.||I spend several months each year in Thailand and keep returning to this Hotel purely because of the care given by the mamager/owner.|I have stayed in many 4 star Hotel that do not come close to the service l receive when staying at Rojjana.||The manager will assist you with advice on places of interest, restaurants, transport to & from the airport at better prices than anyone in Kamala.||Rojjana is located on the beach side of the main highway so you can walk to the beach, shops & restaurants all with a 10 minute walk. ||I discovered a great friendly little bar in Kamala in a side street adjacent to Pop Eye Restaurant run by a Canadian.
