MONTANA Hotel & Hostel Karon Phuket — Hotel in Karon

The staff are extremely friendly! Rooms can be cleaned daily by the hardworking housekeeper (P'Pui) which I appreciated. It is conveniently located near several eateries, fruit stores, massage parlors, pharmacies and 7-11s. ~ 5-10minutes walk to the beach and pretty near public bus stops. The shared toilets for hostels are very clean and there's one on each floor. The hotel/hostel is near the main road on a small street so that means Grab/Bolt cars can easily stop and pick up passengers. There's good wifi and an area to lounge with free water/coffee/tea there too.

In the room, toothbrush, lotion, soap, tissue/toilet paper are all provided. Sadly there's no hair dryers :(

Note: 500 baht in deposit has to be given in cash upon checking in and will be refunded at the end of stay.

There are bars around the vicinity so some muffled music can be heard at night. There isn't any lifts but it's fine since it's a short building (about 3 floors tall).

For the location, it is extremely reasonably priced. Loved it, will stay again when...
