Very basic and outdated bungalows in good location close to the beach, cleaning only on request, for the price the owner charges via booking.com (up to 2500 Baht a night!) you can find better and higher quality accommodation on the island. Hardly any storage in the room and no storage in the bathroom, no bed tables, old noisy fridge, gaps below the door and in the walls, room fills up with mosquitos every day, we also had cockroaches in the bathroom and a big spider (size of the palm of the hand) regularly crawled into the room (see video). Bathroom is smelly, drainage of shower and bathroom sink are clogged every few days. White "new" towels were dirty twice. Those bungalows need more maintenance and...

I stayed here the year before and had a good experience, but this time was very different. I felt deeply uncomfortable after what should have been a simple and routine check-in turned unexpectedly tense.

Despite staying calm, cooperative, and respectful throughout, the situation escalated in a way that felt both unpleasant and completely unnecessary—especially for something as straightforward as arranging check-in.

It left me with a strong sense of unease.

Loved our stay here . Good sized bungalow and very close to long beach. It’s like being in a small commune with several bars and restaurants, the best being the food served by the mini mart shop , which was awesome and nice friendly local people. The only negative was that the bungalow was very bare with only a bed , a rusty fridge, a kettle and a sort of clothes hanger . No pictures, bedside cabinets / lamps , tv or anything to make it feel more homely especially as some of these bungalows are rented out, long-term . Maybe they could invest and make it...
